Fun update till u realize every new item is locked behind a .5 drop from bosses that spawn every hour. That’s the problem with this game pho can add 2000 new fruits but he locks them behind the most boring repetitive and miserable grin. His brain only comprehends bandit beating as a form of progression. Wonder if he starts changing when rell seas comes out.

@@JackSimpson-wc2fd yes, I do agree that you shouldn't be getting everything right off the bat, HOWEVER, everything should come with moderation and extremes are never good. The point i'm getting to is that you can't really even get anything that's slightly rare because theres always an RNG wall which prevents you from getting the thing that you want or anything that you can trade for your desired weapon/fruit/armor. Even in the endgame *i think* there aren't any ways of consistently getting items because of the 0.1%/1% odds you are slapped in the face with, and how do we solve that? you are right! BY PAYING REAL MONEY FOR SOME DUMB ITEM (all-seeing-eye).
I really hope this game makes a comeback although its gonna be hard.

Was excited for the update until I realized every little bit of new content is locked behind a ridiculously rare drop from bosses that spawn every hour (or in Mihawk's case, every 2 hours), INCLUDING the new fighting style.
I have no idea what Pho was smoking when he thought it'd be a good idea to make SK Guitar a requirement for Kamishiki. Brook spawns every hour, you have to get lucky to get the 10% chance of him being the Rockstar variant, and then have to get ridiculously lucky again to get the *1% drop* that is Soul King Guitar. It's so silly and there was literally no point in doing that, it feels like he just spun a wheel and picked an item at random, and now you either have to grind for WEEKS just to get a single fighting style, that honestly isn't even that good, or get it through trading where every SK Guitar owner is overpricing the hell out of it just because they know people want it.
Still salty that we waited so long for this update just for Phoeyu to gatekeep all the new content behind tedious and repetitive grinding, but it's to be expected from GPO.

phoeyu really just shows all the new fighting styles like "oooh look kamishiki, abyssal karate and suulong form! theyre just so incredibly hard to get! oh noooo! welp i know what you should do! you should spend money to get a race reroll so you can get cyborg! thats much easier!" bcz like literally, cyborg is just better and easier to get than every other one of the other upgraded forms, but you need a 1% drop from race rerolls which you need money for, or stay i the game for a long period of time, and if youre a premium member, phoeyu gets MORE MONEYYY, I had 47 rerolls stocked up from race rerolls, i got not a SINGLE race other than human and skypiean, thats basically the same as FIFTY race rerolls, which costs TWO THOUSAND normally, and a thousand rn bcz of some conveniently placed discount, phoeyu just knows his game is gonna die in a few months to rell seas so he gives zero shits about the game now and just wants to milk it for its last bit of money

@@notrllysecure5837 The depressing part is I think GPO has a lot of potential to compete with Rell Seas, but Pho does not gives a shit. He doesn't care enough to fix his grindfest of a game because people keep playing it, people see cool items and wanna get them so they don't care about the ridiculous grind.
This game could do with a major increase in drop rates, because waiting months for an update just for every bit of content to be locked behind a .5% drop from a boss that spawns every 2 hours is outrageous. No one finds this fun. No one enjoys waiting 2 hours to have a CHANCE at a 1 in 200 chance drop, that's odds that you'd put in a gacha game where you can spin several times in a small amount of time, not ONCE EVERY 2 HOURS.
I've killed 10+ Mihawks and Rogers and haven't gotten a singular drop. I usually wouldn't mind the grind since the items were decently easy to get, but this time he really overdid it. These drop rates are borderline unnacceptable.
Nothing has changed - the game got some new fruits but that doesn’t bring it back to the 200k players and active community it has a few years ago.

@@zanonitoall of you existing players only see this as a small update with very little content because you guys have nothing else to do in the game other than the content provided in this update. phoeyu is aiming to make the game better for people who havent played it yet- the “new player experience” pre-free release was very underwhelming as once you got to second sea there was only two actual islands worth visiting. nowadays there’s so much more to do and with every update it becomes a more complete game.

yoru needs a nerf bruh i lost to a 0 elo because he switched from trident to yoru. i was cooking bro up with the most diabolical combo and when bro respawned he switched to yoru and started cooking me like a 5 star dish, this one move with three slashes does so much dmg, i went from 1490 hp to 300 hp

Yessss!! Another gpo update that has every single piece of content locked behind extremely rare drops that forces ppl do grind for hours js to get premium payout!! Such a GOOD update
Yeah it’s fun when you realize the pertradon is maybe a mythical and the swords are mythical and is a .5 chance drop and no pity system for boosting your luck/chances and which lead people to disbelieve and you are still not getting it if you have x2 drops leaving you at 1% chance and 1 percent legendary items take a while but it’s not intimidating if you’re confident and have determination but 2% chance is way more better than 1 or even 0.5 just got a legendary sword in a few attempts but a event sword took me a month and I give up on mythical and some of the fruit nerfs are uncalled for and petradon is broke

there is a cheese method you can do with a fps unlocker and autoclicker. just look on youtube. did that with 7+ accounts and was able to get it on all of them. just tweak the settings on the fps unlocker and autoclicker if it doesnt work first try
