Great review. I own one of Paul Carnazzo's older tricks that I kinda liked. "Symbolism" One of the effects was good the bonus ones were a bit too easy to reverse engineer. I like the two effects that you reviewed. Where can I find the recommended list that you talked about?
I just got mine from Paul over the pond here in the UK. Really like these. Need a little time to get the routines down and subtleties but love it. I also have Depiction and has a network engineer that needs to understand binary and CIDR notations I loved the method (if you get it you'll know what I mean). Think these 2 are a great combo as Lexicology is easy, Depiction takes a little more work but is really good.
For those that have Lexicology there is a really nice presentational subtlety for the second reveal where they free associate to a new word which is "ok 1st one just thought of word but to make this a double blind experiment I am going to get you to free associate to another word..." The double blind works well if you are leaning into the institute a bit and it's one of those things that makes sense in the moment! Have fun

What I like about the mental voyage cards is they layer lots of methods so you can have 2 or 3 reveals which makes it much harder to reverse engineer.
for the player's card, does the spectator think of a card(suit and number) or a four of a kind (only number) ?

I just bought players card. A perfect way to introduce this if you do the 10 card poker deal. Spectators often need this card to rank a hand.
