You could definitely try that!
If your a critcut user, what do you cut on with the cover vinyle on?
I don’t use cricut, you’ll have to just play with your settings, pressure, and blade depth until you find what works for you. I suggest a test cut of just a circle while you try and figure it out so you don’t waste a whole sheet of vinyl

Omg just what I was looking for. I have a pencil template and I wanted to do different colors for each “side” but I do wonder do you think regular transfer paper would work for this as well just maybe making it less tacky first?
Possibly, some transfer tapes are thicker so you’d just need to adjust your cut settings
