Welcome back and Happy New Year! It's a 10 right out of the gate - love this cup and the colors! Very pretty. Congratulations on your wedding. Will you be making anything for it like those acrylic, brushstroke signs or has that trend already passed? I always thought it was pretty.
Happy New Year, Mal! Can you give me some advice, please? Lately I’m having trouble with epoxy, particularly in the final coats. I’m using the same epoxy I’ve always used - Amazing Clear Cast+ - & haven’t had issue with it. I’m careful not to touch with a bare hand, washing them & wiping w alcohol after sanding, sealing over vinyl work, tried a coat of matte clear spray paint between layers, warmed part a, run a space heater in my craft room… all the things, but I’m getting varying degrees of (idk what they’re called) dry spots / repelled epoxy / ? Sometimes it’s just a single dime or quarter size spot, or a ripply area, & sometimes the spots are so pronounced they look like Olympic moguls. I’m completely exasperated, have several folks waiting for tumblers, & completely gave up on my niece’s bride cup. I have waaaaay too much invested in this to quit, but idk what I’m doing wrong. HELP!!!
Hmmmm. That’s tough. I don’t use ACC so im not sure what it could be with that specific epoxy. My guess would be maybe humidity? If it’s happening consistently with EVERY cup I’d guess it’s your environment vs a step you’re doing. Unless you’re doing the exact same steps with every cup… then it’s more difficult 😕 sorry that’s not more helpful!

I like your work and the paper

Gorgeous! Silly question, but why did you switch to the Adhesive Apothecary rather than using the CrystaLac on the top?
Thank you! Just because it dries faster and I was impatient lol
@ thanks! I’ve always wondered! Your channel is my absolute favorite so thanks for all the work you put into it!

Thank you!
Where did you get the cutter from that you use to cut off the bottom vinyl? Thanks! Your videos are amazing.
It’s the cup edging tool from CamiPaige Boutique!
