- Toys R Us Prices continue to rise as Mega Jay Retro Hunts for the MOTU Masterverse King Grayskull, Trap-Jaw, Star Wars the Vintage Collection Boba Fett Tatooine figure, Star Wars the Black Series George Lucas in Stormtrooper Disguise, Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary Captain America, Hulk and Iron man. At the Markville Mall Toys R Us Jay find the largest collection of NECA Action figures including Gremlins, Predator, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Aliens, Back to the Future, King Kong, Scream, Halloween, Friday the 13th, An American Werewolf in London, IT, IT2, Childs Play, Puppet Master, The THING, Hellraiser, A Nightmare on Elm Street, ad so much more!
MJR Collector goes Toy Hunting at Toys R Us and finds Action figure prices continue to increase to well over 30% at Toys R Us in Victoria Park Ontario. MJR Collector reacts to the price increase of Star Wars the Black Series Cob Vanth, GI Joe Classified, Marvel Legends, He-man and the Masters of the Universe across all toy lines. Luckily Jay finds He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Ram Ma’am, Man-E-Faces, Jumbo Stratos, Jumbo Skeletor, Jumbo He-man, and Jumbo Trap-Jaw, Masterverse Savage He-Man and Orko and Masterverse Tri-Klops. Action Figure Price Hikes at Toys R Us don't seem to be slowing down in 2022.
MJR Collector is shocked to find Pickering Ontario Toys R Us has raised their Action Figure Prices more than 30%. Marvel Legends at $39.99, Star Wars at $44.99, GI Joe Classified at $39.99, Power Rangers at $39.99, Luckily Jay was able to find that Masters of the Universe Revelations Masterverse figures Savage He-man and Orko, and Masterverse Tri-Klops were $46.99 each still pricy but had to have them.

I was at Walmart earlier today, they had Neca figures there for $37.99. I go TRU right after. They were stocked with Neca but all if it was $59-$69. What a joke..
Revelation Battle Cat was in Walmart on clearance for $9.97 this morning in Massachusetts.
The toys companies are pricing parents and us collectors out of purchasing toys. There is a breaking point where we are just going to say no. It seems like what used to be a $10.00 figure not too long ago is easy $20-$30.00 now!

This is akin to a brick and mortar Ebay. Got my last three Vintage Collection figures( in the mail last week). Figures are still a hobby and my mantra over the years has been: 'At Or Below Retail.' Packaging and Pricing has made that almost impossible. Good time for me to quit.
I think MOTU Origins is done at Wal-mart and Toys R Us and Gamestop in Canada, there has not been any new waves in such a long time past wave 5 and I know in your videos I sometimes see a few figures left over from waves past 5 but Its just so scarce. They have basically stopped selling them I think.

WALMART just raised their MOTU Origins from 14.97 to 22.97 ...Mattel and Walmart just priced me out of collecting Origins ...I agree though ,that the toy line here in Canada seems to be done ..ugh

Why is Toys R US so expensive? The prices are ridiculous. The NECA Isle is awesome. I have the Annabelle doll from NECA and I only paid $20 her online brand new.

Hello all , new to the channel. I just paid $22.97 plus tax for Crawful and Sun Man at Walmart in Halifax. Is this the new price? Ouch!
It's getting like when I was a kid, my mom would say we'll only get something at TRU if you can't find it at Kmart. The closest one was 3 hours away in the city where my grandparents lived, so I only got to go about 4 times a year when we visited them.
Game Stop Canada is blowing out most of the new MOTU Masterverse toys ...wayyyy cheaper than Toys Rip you off ?.

@@omegashenron8 yeah exactly, I don't know any parents buying their kids 45 dollar figures. Even their kids toys are overpriced. For example Lego has a standard msrp everywhere like Canadian Tire, Mastermind Toys, walmart etc, but Tru has a 5 % markup which is nonsense. Even the lego store sells for their msrp
@@alyhusein9890 the Adult collectible market at retail is an absolute mess right now in Canada cause of the price increases and I don't know if it will recover. In my area, TRU already pulled damn near all of their Lightning Collection, Transformers and Star Wars. It's the same with my local Walmart(s) too. It will be no different with Neca now. TRU will have these neca figures sitting forever at $60-$70, then they'll just reduce the shelf space and eventually pull them altogether.

Funny how Toys R Us survived in Canada, but died in the US. Seriously, who's paying these prices? I know the Canadian dollar are different from the US dollar, but still.
I'm pretty sure they won't survive here either. They must be on borrowed time via brand nostalgia but at these prices their not even competative with other retailers at all. I expect them to fail soon enough....again.
