As far as I'm aware, silver swords can only hurt monsters in the Witcher universe. Saskia is a "monster", even in her human form, so how did Henselt even beat her at all? But to be honest, in the same logic, Saesenthessis shouldn't even have been able to be impaled by the wooden log at the end of the game.
I'm still wondering did Henselt smash that priest's face in because of his own will or because Sabrina's curse compelled him to do so, so that it would activate
I never thought of this while playing the game back in the day, but wow Saskia's voice actor sucks, sounds like she's reading straight from the script, no emotion or anything.

glider521al, you can kill the traitor even in the Iorveth's path, but it's unnecessary in the end, because Temeria stops existing and Kaedwen get Flotsam anyway together with a half of kingdom.
It was just far too smartly written to have a worthy sequel that would also sell well. The witcher 3 is a sell-out game... period. Imagine if mass effect 3 was about finding Shepard's kitty.
Witcher 2s only major flaw was its combat, the third game had a good story, i think what you’re trying to grasp is the lack of politics in the story of witcher 3, which i agree with, there was so much of a power struggle/vacuum due to regicides happening left and right and conquering going on from Nilfgaard in Witcher 2, the only politics going on in the third game was Redania being the last bastion against Nilfgaard, and Radovid still going on with his personal sorcerer vendetta.
Half the game involves finding Ciri and dealing with loose ends at the end, other half is resolving the political conflict that ended up on the chopping block unfortunately. The game feels like a stretch compared to Witcher 2, but at least the side quests are far more enjoyable in the third game.
That is purely opinion because they are COMPLETELY different. I'd do both if you have time. Personal opinion is maybe Iorveth a bit more, but on the same coin Roach is apparently cannon? Again I'd do both

Saskia is not very "powerful" in her human form. I mean, clearly she doesn't know how to fight very well and her title "dragon's slayer" is just a lie.
She could incinerate and eat everyone at that meeting place if she wanted to, but the "Dragonslayer" and "Virgin of Aedirn" are just symbols to make the peasants fight for her. If they have a girl who killed a dragon on their side, what chance the enemy has, or that's the idea. But nobody would follow her if they knew she was a monster, which is what she tells Geralt in the mines, and Aedirn would be lost without any leadership.
True but more stability is between all races and that is truly something good. After the war with the Nilfgaard the races could be united and non humans could get some descent rights. They would not be treated like animals any longer Gronndar. That is something worth pursuing and a cause worth dying for.Tameria is fucked up and it would remain fucked up if any off human kings took over. What is better a nation with united races or a nation torn so apart that it wages a civil war.
Haljordan4life sure but he reminded me of King Robert from game of thrones when he was first shown. the raping I kinda liked him a lot less after that.
I wonder how could he master swordmanship with that weight. The North is kind of heavy political instability while Nilfgaard is unified under fear, but it's was stronger anyway.
Redania = Poland, Temeria = France/England, Nilfgaard = the HRE, Kaedwen could = Scotland imo, especially with their accents and names of places, not sure what Aedirn would be
Senator Servious guess they could be Brittany, though I'd certainly say Nilfgaard is the Holy Roman Empire, what with them being unmistakably based on Germans with their speech and outfits etc. and they way they have vassals like Toussaint, and this being based in the equivalent of the Middle Ages
I loved this part. Walking around and have all your faithful knight kneeling when you pass infront of them.
It was badass

Henselt actually beat Saskia. So he's the true dragonslayer. Geralt should've asked him to beat dragon in the final mission instead.
Imagine Henselt using the Unrelenting Force shout to defeat Saskia.
Yeah, bro b/c the player character always wins.
If we were playing as Saskia, the outcome would be different.
When I first saw Henselt, I thought that he was a dwarf... He would be offended
Lool me too
Henselt's belt is ridiculous.
Sounds like someone's drinking that Haterade...
Dethmold? What an evil sounding name
I really love it when people say King. It's a very subtle yet powerful choice word. "I acknowledge your title but I have no respect for you."
