FAQ (Please Read): Q: Why are parts of the track missing on the MK7 side? A: Mario Kart 7 track models are... interesting... I tried to get it looking the best that I could but there are still some glitches, sorry! Q: Why does the first corner on the MK7 side look so odd? A: Again, MK7 track models behave strangely. Q: How did you do this? A: I extracted the track models from MK7 and MKTour, imported them into Unity, added collision to the models and walked around them. Q: Can you do this for other tracks? It's self explanatory. The more models you have sprinkled around a map (And i'm talking well placed assets where they look good) the more detail it has. It's the reason the Tour tracks while despite using flat colors have so much detail, surprisingly
This comparison doesn’t work that well because 7’s is missing a hecking lot of its assets, and some textures aren’t displaying properly Though I prefer Tour’s because of the overall more cartoony look, has better lighting, the new details they added are welcomed, and it has the better castle design, 7’s looked like a fort of Doritos with all the overly triangular spikes on top of the walls xd, though I miss seeing the flags wave like in 7, as well as the overall color scheme, 7’s made the purples and yellows stand out more, and had a cool haunting greenish yellow stormy sky, which works better for what’s supposed to be a shipyard, Tour’s is just generic blue night all the way, though the beams of light underwater look dope
I like both versions, and I'm glad the Tour version kept most things the same. It'd be nice to see this in the Booster Course Pass but the chances are slim.

I like how while 7 has better textures, Tour has more details in what's actually modeled in order to give the illusion of detail.
