Kevin, the more I watch your videos the more I find I anticipate the next ever so much more. All my family live far away as my child is married to a member of the military. I am deeply proud of that person and I accept the what comes with that commitment. There are times, especially some holidays when I feel a little wilstful. My child always bought me bunches of daffodils found in many stores around this time of year. It was something I always looked forward to. I am a single older person and I enjoy many aspects of not having a companion. I do miss my family and look forward to the retirement of our military member. You bring me much joy. Thank You 😊.

I live in the town next to Kevin....and most definitely we are going to get the snow on Tuesday. We are supposed to get 6-8 inches. It was close to 60f degrees yesterday. I was longing for Spring.
I live in the Catskills in Durham. I used to live on 9H&23,where the Taconic creek Bridge is. I am about 1,500 feet up. They keep changing the totals, and I have a hunch that, depending on how close to the coast the storm moves will determine how much we get. I would love a good old fashioned storm. The song White Christmas was very prophetic.

I brush my cream scones with melted butter all around, top and bottom … a slight variation on your recipe. Love the idea of adding a bit of food coloration to the dough to mark special occasions! I have heavy and clotted cream, as well as a variety of jams, in my refrigerator … will make cream scones to honor you as my Valentine! Happy Valentine’s Day, Kevin!

Thank you for being my Valentine this year. I feel better already. Would have had to be my cat Wolfgang otherwise. I'm told by some that Valentine's day is strictly for those who are in a romantic relationship, but I think it can be for everyone else too. Surely there must be enough love to go around. Different kinds of love, platonic, family, etc. Anyway, I love the beautiful tea table. Spectacular silver teapot. Also the pink scones. I would never have thought to make pink scones. A long time ago my late sister had a cooking show, and she had me on as a guest. I made my scone recipe, but cut them (freestyle) into heart shapes for a Valentine theme. I simply rolled a round disc and then cut into eighths, then trimmed the top to complete the heart shape. A little bit rustic looking but okay. If I make again I will definitely make them pink, as I think is a lovely addition. Thank you for inspiring us to create something for everyone with a Valentine's day tea. Lent begins on Valentine's day this year for those who practice. I have decided I won't be giving up chocolate after all. Thank you for the wonderful video.
