All that is old will become new again.
This universe I visit tonight is reaching its end. All life has been lived; every thing that has happened is in the past; there is no more future. It has rested for several trillion ages, and it is ready to bow out.
But like many other universes, this one will see a beginning in its end. It exists in a cosmic cycle. Those who have seen it will see again every moment.
All the joyous meetings, the heartbreaking tragedies, every movement meaningless or profound. They all will be back again.
That is why I have not a heavy heart tonight as I stay with this dimension in its final moments. Though I must rift away for my safety just before the turn of time, I want to be here to celebrate all that it was, and all that it will be again. This profound, endless darkness will soon be matched by brilliant light again.
Rest easy, my friend. It will soon be time to wake again.
