Just to be clear, a US Marine Vet was having a breakdown. He was jailed instead of given the help he needed. Now he is dead. Support The Troops.

If it was a contraband check they shouldve restrain him and escort him to another empty single cell while the other officers check his cell.

This caused effect has been demonstrated across the country. The other jailers did nothing to put a stop to it either. They’re all complicit. I think what’s most upsetting to the sheriff is the negative publicity. This once again demonstrates the lack of training and accountability that he is ultimately responsible for. Gear up for a bumpy ride in court boys.

How could Jailers kill People their Custody, the criminal Justice Department laws and procedures didn't lock up the Other penitenciary Officers to face criminal charges. So think that a jury has to have every opportunity to press charges on the Officers who slain this young Fellow 😮😮😮😮they must face consequences of their indictment to cop at least 10-15-40 behind bars.

That’s a big guy leaning on somebody’s back I’m hoping the family gets some compensation out of this. This is wrong in all aspects and those that were fired, should be held responsible for his death, and not just fired

I deal with mental health patients daily ...... This outcome here ???? I'm sorry but it is in my opinion...... Criminal ..... I already factored in by him being a veteran that he had probably PTSD from previous military services which can cause the mental health issues ...... There should have been other forms of treatment for this gentleman ..... Not incarceration ...... Oh I don't think someone should be held accountable ...... I know someone should BE !!!! The alleged jailers were terminated???? Not only terminated .. They should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law & followed by prison time ..... Deepest condolences for the victim's family - families ... May justice ⚖️ prevail for this mental health veteran who dilegently served ..... Rest In Peace 🕊️🕊️🕊️ 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Once the guy was handcuffed they’re supposed to sit him up not continue to apply weight on top of him. You’re already vulnerable with your chest on the ground and when there’s added weight and that’s a lot of weight the possibility of injuries is greatly increased. Another problem I saw was there’s entirely too many deputies pulling and pushing just working against each other. Needs to be more organization and what I saw was very unorganized. I’m an officer myself and what I saw is not taught in defensive tactics. A restraint chair is another option and there should be one on each floor in a secured location in the event one is needed along with flex cuffs, spit hoods, leg shackles, and anything else that applies. At least in a restraint chair he’s sitting up and he’s able to breathe without issues. Being prepared is paramount. This is a wake up call to the sheriff and he really needs to incorporate these things.

Working in a jail is the worst job you can ever have. I'd rather be a garbage man than work in a jail again.

Sadly, it seems a lot of those who have served in the American military have issues especially Marines and Army. It's what they experience from basic training to the field - Our protectors who have seen and experienced the worst of human kind. The Veterans Administration has failed so many of our military members especially those in the Marines and Army-- ALL military members that need help physically and mentally should have it!!!!. My heart breaks for Anthony's family and friends. My relatives were in the Vietnam war, they didn't fare well mentally upon leaving. No help was available in the 70's and it continues decades later. Semper Fidelis to all Marines!
