Midnight Run and Beethoven are my favorites... Another good actir gone. May his family find some peace knowing he is in a better place! RIP Charles Grodin
I will always remember him in Seems Like Old Times playing Goldie Hawn’s husband. So funny! I also watched his talk show back in the 90s. Since talent! I will miss seeing him.
In my experience,he was one of the BEST late night television show guests ! He was never pedestrian ,sometimes caustic, always droll and often contentious, whether genuine or fictitious debate, he was never boring !!!
One of his first shows on CNBC was about how David Brown & Richard Zucker had contacted him about a role in Jaws. I would like to see that upload here. Total Rip.
I still remember the SNL show he hosted. For me it didn't work. It got old really fast. On the other hand, Midnight Run Is a GREAT movie. One of my favorites!!!!!!
How can you not mention Midnight Run, with DeNiro, which is arguably his best movie? Also, he wrote one of the funniest books about Hollywood, It Would Be So Nice If You Weren't Here. Truly a man of many talents.
Have been watching CG on Johnny and loved the way he would rib Johnny. Johnny seemed nervous sometimes because of the ribbing. He really got him one time. Audience roared.
It was a routine between Johnny and Charles like a comedy team, one of the best guests, if you don't understand that, you don't understand comedy, why else would Johnny have him on 31 times, including Conan and Letterman.
Johnny Carson was the best host to interact with Grodin. All in all he was the best on late night TV. Jimmy Fallon is nothing but a rank amateur who takes orders on whom he could talk about and subjects he could speak about. There is no individuality or free thinking on today's late night talk shows. Basically it is CENSORSHIP!
Midnight Run is one of my favorite movies! Grodin and DeNiro were great together.
I watch this movie about 2 times each year. It's great!
He was one of the best. Rest in peace Charles Grodin

Grate comedian rip mate thanks for the laughter
Not a word about the muppets or how he played the old man in the sequel to a Christmas story?
R.I.P
One of the best LN Guests ever !
How can anyone say Charles Grodin isn't Mark Cuban's father? If not its a brotha or very very close family member
It was a routine between Johnny and Charles like a comedy team, one of the best guests, if you don't understand that, you don't understand comedy, why else would Johnny have him on 31 times, including Conan and Letterman.

He wasn't the worst. He was one of the best. What a stupid title.
Rip
He died like 2 or 3 week ago
Charles Grodin was not the worst guest in late night. It was all a shtick being mad about everything.
why do these videos tell their life story???? just tell us who the guest was please
Midnight Run surprised they didnt say he died of Covid or is that no longer politically a thing
grodin was the early and funnier norm mcdonald
Yeah, his appearances really sucked.
