How are the end sealed? or are they just butted up too each other? not the best seal.

i realize this is a old question but this is for dry hay and straw not to let you ferment or pickle as with a complete wrap or tube .... way less spoilage than just leaving them dry in the field where there is a 30/40% loss and this way uses minimal wrap and time
