I personally use to be so focus on the question "What's my purpose in life ? Why am I here ?" And asking that question and never finding an answer can be exhausting. I have things in my life that I'm interested in and that I might possibly might want to do in my future, but God's ways aren't my ways so instead of me worrying about the future and what God has for me what I should be doing in the meantime is serving God throughout everything and maybe God will reveal things about myself that I didn't know before or he might even reveal my purpose. I'm a teenager and I want to talk about God to my friends and my teachers but I don't want them to think I'm weird or to associate me with the misconceptions about Christianity, so what sould I do? I try to talk about God every time topics like churches or religions come up, but still, I don't want them to label me as 'weird Christian'. I try to be kind but how will they know that I'm not being kind because of myself? So it's hard, I don't think that anybody in my class is very religious. But God said that we should preach His gospel and His name and I don't want any of my friends to die without knowing about Him. Well, of course their lives are hopefully far from over, but still it's my responsibility, too. What sould I do?
Pogácsa I understand. That's a great question. I think you control what you can control. Meaning be as true to who God made you and called you to be as possible and trust that God will open the people's hearts who need to be opened. You can't control how other people react to you.
Pogácsa I think the most important part of following Jesus is Jesus himself. I'm a teenager too and when kids bring things up like religion and the misconceptions about the church I always say something along the lines of "That's man's work. I'm talking about Jesus." Man are always going to fall short. Jesus never does. Because I don't really consider Jesus to be my religion. He's like my best friend. He's the guidance. And the savior. But He is not my religion. That can be a bit confusing but hope this helps!

Well I feel bad because I feel like I want to connect with Jesus in a different way. And not to mention I feel all stiff and feel emotionless, kinda like a brick wall. What do I do? I know it because I felt it, too. That kind of "What is wrong with me?" feeling, right? You just want to connect, but you can't. You try to believe, but you can't. I don't know and I can't know what is the purpose for it, but maybe to discover that natural craving for Him inside yourself. And don't lose hope! God will strenghten your faith and he will give you amazing joy and amazing peace! I have had this feeling of amazing joy towards Him for some days now and it's something I am not afraid to lose because I can't lose it! (I'm sorry I'm off topic, just this kind of joy and peace, this strong faith I got from His grace is so new for me and so amazing!) And don't worry, pray to Him to strenghten your faith, and to use that little you have right now for amazing things! ( I would encourage you to read Luke 17,6 it gave me hope when I felt very miserable) The one who seeks Him will find Him! ☺ He won't refuse to fulfill anything you ask Him for, as a father won't refose to help his son in need!
