The problem is that Triple H keeps booking the same people over and over again, so when someone else comes around, they are given no time to develop their character or connect with the crowd, then they are left off the sheet for so long that they end up being released, and so they cycle continues.
They did but weren't getting over despite being featured and they have a business venture they're very passionate about outside of wrestling so I don't think the lovely blokes will be negatively affected by it
“Creative has nothing for you” isn’t the real reason talent is let go. At any given time creative doesn’t have anything for 70% or more of contracted talent. The same 25 or 30 talent out of 100 are featured regularly.
Sonya and Cedric were bland, so not surprised there, but Blair didn't even get a chance, and why they didn't just book aop how they were booked in nxt is crazy to me I hope Owens contract has at least 1 more world title run for him
I mean, in all fairness, SD hasn't really had much direction of late. I was hoping they'd put her with Shotzi and Liv, but that never came about. I really don't know what they could have done with her, given her injuries and whatnot. Hopefully her contract expiration let's her go to somewhere like TNA, and find some footing with fresh faces and a new locker room. If she can go to TNA, she'd still have the opportunity to work on WWE programs, and act as a bit of an ambassador for both companies. I definitely don't think this is the end for Sonya. The girl has chops and grit. I see this less as a disappointment, and more as a new opportunity for her. She's a fighter, and isn't gonna go out quietly. I know we're gonna see her again, somewhere else. I like her a lot, as a performer and a person, so I really do hope for nothing but the best for her.

I think they're gonna let her contract expire because Creative had to move on without her during that time, and what they've given her hasn't really been working. I think it's more of a "We're going to let you go free agent, because we feel like you have more to offer than we can offer you, at this point." Kinda like when a football team has too many really good players at a single position, and they let a good prospect go into free agency, rather than let them stagnate on the bench. A company like TNA can use Sonya day one, given her name in the business and her experience as a steady working hand. WWE clearly wants to do stuff with Jordyne and Joe. Having someone in TNA, with WWE experience, could lead to building a bigger bridge between the two companies, making way for a lot more crossover work. Basically, this might be a 4D chess move, building to something bigger down the line. It's also not something I'd put past Dwayne, Paul, and Steph. And if I'm being completely honest, Sonya is a bit of a big brain, too. I could see her being just as on board with a plan like that, as well. We might even see some other vets lie Natty do the same, in the near future. If so, we can rest assured that the WWE/TNA door is wide open, and that would be AWESOME!!!

If she did all she could in NXT and they called her up theoretically they already knew she only had about a year left…why have her take up tv time in NXT when they have future superstars to build up? Wwe games need to move past this yearly release and make a Live roster where if someones gone they are not in the game anymore, or if a wrestler is injured on tv they are out or limited in the game. Would add that extra bit of realism to the franchise

10:42 Kevin Owens, to me, is a very special wrestler because he has been in 11 ladder matches and jumps off of everything like he's Jeff Hardy and at the same time he isn't afraid to go extreme like a Terry Funk and he can talk like no one else can his in ring ability can't really be compared to anyone else ik he adopted the stunner but you don't see SCSA doing pop up power bombs KO to me is one of if not the most WWE wrestler of all time and he embodies the spirit of all of the companies WWE has had in it's umbrella (ecw and WCW) as well

All of these releases were people that never really got going. AOP should’ve just came back as a tag team like they were in NXT the tag division seems really lite right now and they’re just letting them go. Carmello is now just a guy who talks a big game and can only beat jobbers (so much for first round pick), Kianna James showed up on one episode of raw or smack down as trying to be an assistant to Pierce then vanished, before Ilja got injured he was in midcard hell with Ricochet, Lyra was doing nothing till out of nowhere she became womens intercontinental champion (hasnt even defended the championship yet) & Baron Corbin & Blair Devenport got released not even a year later. It feels to me as if triple H is booking most nxt call ups like Vince would have

Lack of creative maybe. And it’s always budgetary. If people aren’t being used and nothing planned, why keep paying them. WWE is a cooperate giant. Money is the bottom line, especially with the merger.

All of these releases were people that never really got going. Cedric is the only one who really had a significant spot in the main roster but once all the other guys left you knew it was only a matter of time before he left also. Sonia got derailed by injuries and the stalker issue and never really recovered. I thought after the rumble the PFC would start doing more. AOP should’ve just came back as a tag team like they were in NXT the tag division seems really lite right now and they’re just letting them go. Blair I really don’t know much about in regards to her on the main roster because I can’t ever remember her having anything.

I highly disagree with kevs decision to resign for 5 years. I bet he was only given the main events to entice him to stay and think he'll be pushed more. I think with the rising stock in his character, it would've been great to move to another company and build upon that to make yourself an undeniable star. But people love security and I get it.

WWE needs to expand their show's to more hours, the creative writing team needs to work harder creating characters and scripts for wrestlers your signing but not using. Its no reason to waste time looking for talent to sign if the wwe creative team dont expand hours for their shows, create more characters and write more scripts for them

None of those names surprised me. In fact, some more folks need to be nervous, mostly those who have been in NXT for a long time and are not in a title picture, holding a title, or related to someone with some stroke.
Cedric survived all those Vince/Laurinaitis/Dunn mass-shitcannings/"budget cuts" (🤥🤥) and it's the guy who deviated from his own script because he felt so moved to go out and acknowledge fan chants to *hire* him that eventually *fires* him...
