4:30 True! That's part of the Fugazi listening experience. Much of their music is intentionally designed to be that way. For some people, it can take a while to "get" Fugazi, but they are an extremely respected band for a reason.

I saw Fugazi on their first European tour in 1988.
It was a weird experience as we didn't know what to expect and someone had taped up a set list of Minor Threat songs LOL
They came before Operation Ivy, I think, but they have a reggae / ska tinge to their music.
Love this song! It's such a classic mind fuck and it's so perfect! I like how it almost gave Chuckles a seizure! 🤣 So for that, brain cell to Chuck because we need him to stay healthy and safe...I think this one may have caused some damage.
years ago, actually decades ago now, vh1 did a show about the best 100 bands ever. fugazi was on the list, around halfway as i recall. i'm watching the show, and i'v never even heard of fugazi. then, the camera cuts to scott ian from anthrax and he starts talking about fugazi and says something like "ian mackaye (the singer in fugazi) is awesome. he was in "minor threat"." i was a minor threat fan, so, oh shit, dood had a band after minor threat. and now i'm a fan of fugazi as well.

My dad used to listen to them, but I don’t know if I’ve ever heard them, I just remember seeing their name on his ipod and on some CDs he had. This was definitely some interesting stuff lol, I’m initially with Chuck on this one but I could see this sort of sound growing on me.
Suggestion would be a great reaction. Well, actually any song. Very creative band, and excellent examples of artistic integrity, While their songs never sound the same, they always sound like Fugazi,, so I'm thinking your ratings will forever be separate with this band.

One of the greatest songs ever made. Heard it for the first time during the X games waiting for Tony Hawk to land the 900. Unforgettable.

I love when songs stop. Saw No Fun At All live back in the 90s and that blew me away, how they would do that.

Fugazi was introduced to me in A-School as my roommate was a Punk Rocker. This and Bull Frog Front & Bad Mouth are my favorite from them. Im late to Punk scene and the harder music.
