@CyclingTrivialities I think I figured it out, strum and angle towards guitar on downstroke and hit the guitar just strumming the strings

Anyone know how to add the percussive factor, I've seen jose play it live and he adds percussion - not sure if its thumb or fingers - any ideas???????
its al good ..but it does not sound in tune with original
I think the original tuning is a bit diff too, idk if im right but he likes to use D A D F# B E in a lot of songs

I’d presume just playing one fret lower
