Were migrating to Canada from Kuwait on April with our 3 cats. Our cats are vaccinated and documented. Were travelling to Newfoundland via air Canada and port of entry is Toronto. This video is timely relevant to me, and I pray everything will go smoothly and well. My cats are my family and they have been with us for 6 years now🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi Patty! Thank you for your comment. Seems like you're good to go and we wish you nothing but the best with your travels to Canada with your cats! Welcome to Canada! 🇨🇦 Cheers, The Maple Team
Vaccines, register your pet in your local animal pet sanitary service (something like that). make sure you find the right cage for your pet. If you're traveling with Air canada, you need to follow the measurements otherwise they may be annoying
This is important, cause not only will you and your pets get to Canada but also your pets is healthy. Boosting their immune systems. So it's a win-win thing, the pets don't get sick. You the owner and your loved ones *Esang
Couldn't agree more. Any pet owner knows this and this is the reason that we did this video as there is no sense coming unless you have every member of your family - including your Pet!!
Hi Celine! Thank you for your comment Canada does not require a microchip for domestic dogs imported as personal pets. But, if your dog is under 8 months and is for commercial purposes (selling, breeding, show dog, etc.), they do have to be microchipped. Hope this helps! The Maple Team
You've mentioned that reptiles can be brought to Canada with a special permit. I would like to know if I can bring a pet bearded dragon if I move to Canada, as the official website of the government of Canada first says that it's not permitted to bring reptiles, at all. But then they write about filling out different forms, and you said that exotic animals can be brought to Canada, so I'm confused.
You will be responsible for paying for the pets vaccination and for the pet inspection at the Canadian port of entry. Having your animal inspected at the border is $30.00 CAD plus $5.00 for each additional animal. Rabies Vaccination Fees vary between $7.00 and $20.00 depending on where you bring your pet to get vaccinated. Also, if you are travelling by plane, you are responsible for any fees associated with the airlines policies. Hope this helps :) Maple Team
You mentioned some of your clients have had problems while traveling with emotional support dogs. Could you give examples of what those problems were about? Thanks for your video! It was very informative.
The emotional support animal is highly abused, where anyone can get a certification in the internet. There has been a huge pushback due to the validity of the certifications and the abuse that people have been exploiting. Hope this helps to explain
You can bring them if you and they meet the requirements. Alternatively, we find that some people who are coming for temp purposes will have their pets taken care of by a family member as travelling far distances can be challenging. Either way if you are brining them, you surely can do that in most instances.
Hi, happy to find your post about a 🐇 rabbit, hope everything is well for you both, im in the work to send my pet son there as well from lima peru, as far I know I need to send him as cargo. One thing I don't handle is the documentation or requirements there in canada when.he arrives, I plan to arrive there before my pet, any advice is welcome 😊
Yes, I agree. They need to be vaccinated. This is also for their own health as well, not just a requirement when immigrating. So it's a win-win scenario. They're vaccinated, so they're healthy and you get to be in Canada with pets. *Esang
This is important. Not only will your pets be healthy and immunized. But you and your pets will get to be in Canada. All will be healthy and illnesses will be prevented. That's a win win situation to me. *Esang

Glad to hear that you are attached to your bunny as the bond with a pet is important. I am not sure what you’re looking for but all the info and resources are in the video. Hope this helps as a starting point for you.
Hi Andres, there does not seem to be any restriction on the number of dogs or cats that you can bring in as long as you can comply with what is required to do the importation. Again you might have some questions but all in all I do not think they would be anything out of the ordinary! Hope this helps
