As always, very useful video. In the beginning all the information feels like an endless maze. Make a good credit history ( an important point being never missing any pre-committed payments/direct debits) And for you Sandais, looks like interest rates are coming down, and I wish you get a good rate when you remortgage
Thank you. Mortgage interest rate is fixed only for the term(for example 5 yrs) , with the remortgage , there would be a need interest rate depending on the market
SanDias oru fund thudagnanem njagnal pavapetta subscribersinu vendi. New year samanam ayitu 😊 Great info as always 👍🏽 If you are a higher rate tax payer I would recommend NS&I premium bonds. Its ran by UK govt. and for every £1 you get an entry to monthly draw for winnings between £25 to £1 million. Good thing is everything you win is tax free, downside is you may not win anything and its limited to £50k per person. (No financial advice is given, please consider the risks before investing any money as these are my personal opinion only).
Was waiting for @koothara91’s comment 😃 Thank you for the information on NS&I, have heard about this from colleagues, but don’t know much, will explore. Channel valaratte, namuku fund inte karyam alojikam ☺️
Hi, what we know is - If the amount you have in Indian account is a savings from your own UK income , you have already paid tax on the same, so you don’t need to pay additional tax, interest nu matram tax pay chythal mathy. If the money represents savings from taxed income (either in the UK or India), you generally don’t have to pay tax again when you bring it back to the UK. You may need to provide evidence to show it was previously taxed or falls under a non-taxable category. Please do check the latest rules on the same.

Yup, looks like interest rates are coning down 🤞🏻Thanks a lot for the comment 🙂
Thank you for your valuable information.. I would like to know what is remortgage?? Is it for the same house or to buy a new one??
For the same house, usually mortgages are for a fixed term(for e.g 5 yrs) , we need to switch to a new deal/interest after that.

Thank you for your reply I love both of you..❤️
So, the mortgage is not fixed for full term??
