Love this because Prue was hands down the best sister and I still have to skip THAT episode because it wrecks me every time. I used to set my VCR to record it when I went to school and even had all the Charmed books at one point.

lemme tell you a story- the first time I watched this I was bored and looking for anything to watch, I saw the movie poster for this and obviously it’s has the same name as me so I was like whatever I’ll watch it (the self obsession jumped out hahahaha) and I didn’t know anything about it. I assumed it’d be like mean girls crossed with the breakfast club, ya know some light teen film. When I tell you I was shocked when it took a turn haha I was a young teen and not ready for the whiplash of what I expected to what I got, but I still love this film it is great, but whenever I think about the first time I watched it I laugh

I was SHOOK when I first learned learned about this movie and how hot the guy from Mr Robot used to be. He even had a lot of the same mannerisms. We don't have many heartthrobs like that nowadays.

I LOVE this movie, but I have such a hard time watching it because it triggers my anxiety because I was in a similarly toxic relationship right before I watched it for the first time. (y'know, minus the actual murder. Though there were threats made against me and my loved ones)

I basically have this movie memorized at this point. I love all of the strange coincidences surrounding it (like HC asking HD if she had a brain tumor for breakfast and HC’s actress actually dying from a brain tumor and the kid who says at the first funeral he could never unalive himself and the actor who played him actually did) as well as the use of colors for each character. happy belated birthday!

Heathers is so interesting, it is a movie that could really only be made at that time, it's not something that can ever be replicated, and yet the influence it has is undeniable. Heathers has so many sons, it's crazy. There has been a musical and a tv reboot that was one of Paramount+'s first originals. A lot of people like the musical, I'm a bit mixed on it because they dive real deep in the melodramatics of it while the movie was unique with how kind of "detatched" and chill everyone felt if that makes sense. The tv show... I'd love to see your reaction. There are a lot of choices that do not work, it definitely felt like one of those shows where old people just take twitter threads and quotes and make that dialogue, but there are a few things I thought they did "well" or at least had a lot of potential and were interesting to unpack. Also a sad fact: Kim Walker, the girl who played Heather Chandler actually passed away from a brain tumor some years after Heathers. Heartbreaking bit of irony, she was really fabulous in this movie so at least she was immortalized.
Oh my goodness, that’s so sad, she was so good in this movie. But I definitely have to get into the show and the musical cuz I need more Heathers. And you’re absolutely right this movie would get EATEN ALIVE TODAY
@@zzavid5911 If you do decide to watch the tv show, it’s on Amazon I think but it’s missing an episode. The finale got pulled because at the time, a lot of school shootings had taken place one after the other. The finale aired intentionally so it’s somewhere on the internet. Just so that if you do watch it, you’re not left confused! (Which, you probably still might be, but just not as much.)

I felt the same way when I watched The Virgin Suicides. The suicide spectacle mixed with the overprotective Christian parents. I was laughing the entire time.

I originally didn't know this was a movie I always thought it was a musical and my FAV song was 'my dead gay son', so the fact that they DIDN"T do a huge musical with the dads going gay for each other in honour of their sons felt like a let down :/ ALSO I think I might've said this already but it might just be the dementia- if you haven't watched Encanto you totally should whenever you want to cleanse your soul, it's a Disney movie set in Columbia and I felt like they got so much of the culture right down to a T it was so good
