The Thronmax is a mic made to be used more in the lowest gain, so that’s why it sounds distorted when you up the gain. But it sounds really good

I recommend for a budget Mic get the Audio Technica AT2020 its carried me for a while at only $100 or the more expensive option at $229 The Rode Procaster, Just got this mic a few days ago and I'm in love with it, and Go ahead and pick up a Rode PSA1 Mic arm it makes the experience of using one of these mics so much nicer feeling, and if you want to fix the echo you can pick up some Acoustic Foam on Amazon pretty cheap. The RGB is Funny but Id rather have good audio quality, lav mic sounds good though.

I got the Mdrill One Pro. Has been really great mic. I keep it at the end of my table so its not infront of me and has decent distance to me. Everyone still hears me good without any gain.

I'd recommend you get a boom arm to reduce keyboard and mouse audio, reduce the desk space it takes up and to improve sound quality overall since the mic will sound better a few inches away from you then a foot or two.

Em you should get razer microphone and it uses razer croma software to adjust volume so you should get it for the full razer setup

Ooof that sounds way too bad, there are cheaper mics that sound 100 times better than this one. With or without echo. Dynamic range is almost non existant on this one.

You said the mic is aluminum. Dude the entire thing is plastic. I have one and regret ever purchasing it. I can't even sell it on eBay to recover any of the money I spent on it. The sound quality is the worst ever.
