When we say "monster grinding" we actually meant Combat/Battle Time, which is now called "Field Battle". Monster Annihilation (for loot and card drops) should be activated *after* your Battle Time. :)
How do I get rid of gear I no longer use if it was refined? I know it says to transfer it into another piece but seeing as I changed into a job that no longer uses that particular piece of gear it seems just stuck in my inventory.
My apologies for the very late response. You can dismantle your lower-level gears by clicking on them, click on "More" then "Dismantle". Dismantling gives you Eden Coins and a Blue Fragment, which can be used at the Magic Equipment Machines after you've saved up 15 Blue Fragments.

The hairstyle you're referring to is probably called the "Little Witch". You can check all available hairstyles in the game via the Wardrobe window, under the Hairstyle tab. For hairstyles you currently don't have access to, it will direct you to Tony the Barber near the Prontera Fountain. The Little Witch hairstyle needs to be unlocked using a Hairdo Voucher from the Hairstyle Pack. Unfortunately, it can't be obtained in the game (LNA server) at the moment. :(
Unfortunately, since it has just launched, there are no 2-2 jobs yet. If ROO NA is going to approximately follow the ROO JP timeline, the first 2-2 job (Monk) may be out by its third month (that'll be in February!). But of course, we're all hoping it'll be out before that. We currently don't have a server for this channel yet, but I have a personal Discord, if you'd like. You can do it through Costume Gacha (click on Wishing Gacha), which costs tickets or Nyan Berries. Some outfits (especially headgear) can also be crafter through an NPC using certain items.

You can battle monsters as long as you like, but won't gain EXP after the 150-minute Field Battle Time, sadly. :( I think it's also a way to make sure not everyone reaches the server level cap too fast and get bored of the game. Probably because churning out new content for ROO might take a while, considering Gravity has multiple other mobile games like ROM.

I agree that the Combat Time mechanic may be a little annoying since you can't grind for EXP indefinitely, but I think it's also helpful to avoid getting too addicted to the game. xD

The original RO you need to pay every second you’re inside of the game; it’s a way for the devs in stopping bots ruining the game
