- This video is from my dear friends wedding reception. It was filmed in 2004.
In this clip you will see Dee Snider singing with the wedding band.
Playing drums is Brent Fitz (Vince Neil / Slash) and Mark Petrocelli. The guitarist on Highway to Hell, was from the band the Quireboys. Also playing with the band, was Jeff Pilson from Dokken / Foreigner.
Dee Snider mocked Robert Plant and said, "Alright, we're gonna do one of yours!" And then proceeded to go into Rock-n-Roll. Halfway through the song, Brent & I switch places on the drums. The band never even noticed....
As I was filming, my wife went to go check on our son back at the room. You will see I set the camera down a couple times, in order to smack some cymbals with Brent. Finally she comes in, scoops up the camera, and captures a fun moment for me.
A great celebration of love, had by all that day....
This is part 2 of 2.
This is like watching Michelangelo painting with Bob Ross
Jay Kapolka love it😂😂😂😂😂
Robert Plant's expression during Rock and Roll.. classic
Wow...who gets Robert to sing at their wedding!!
Excellent video and music! Amazing 3:49
Damn! Dee is doing the best Highway To Hell I've heard , next to AC/DC themselves.
That's Brent fitz....slash,myles kennedy and the conspirators drummer
Is Snider trying to compete with Plant here - singing a Led Zep song? Snider seems a bit snide to me.
And stupid!
Doo-schnozzle
I want to hear Robert sing some Metal songs.....
mZanitheman0806 Zeppelin is not metal?
I agree.....
I want to hear Robert sing Sabbath
@@bramirez3330 1969......Communication Breakdwown, Heartbreaker, Whole Lotta Love, Imi SOng, .....sounds Metal to me. Old and young metal................Metal is a state of Mind. LZ first album gave the green light to play metal and hard rock....Get over it
@@manitheman0806 I didn't say Zeppelin was not metal. That is why there is a question mark at the end of my comment.
My ears bled with Snyder trying to do Zeppelin. Robert was very gracious. If I were the bride I would have said Daddy make him stop!!!!
Whose wedding?
I understand it was the wedding of a son of a manager connected with Snider and Atlantic records (that was the record company that produced Led Zeppelin records at one time.)
I REMEMBER DEE IN TWISTED SISTER GODSPEED MADE THEM FAMOUS WHILE PLAYING AT THE CAPICORN CLUB. IN JERSEY, DON'T LIKE THEM
No wonder Robert hates hearing others do zeppelin... butchered ...
Dee plaunt
To me, Dee Snider should have never sang Rock n Roll. I feel that was disrespectful to Plant. Anyone agree?
+VIDEOHEREBOB
Why? Why would that be disrespectful to Plant?
+hazor777 We worked out of the same talent agency with them him back in NY. He was a little too cocky for me back then. Watch the last minute of part 1.
VIDEOHEREBOB
yea, I did. I think he's just being himself, not trying to one up anyone - esp. Plant, I mean come on ..?
he did a helluva a 'Highway To Hel' version, you gotta admit that.
+hazor777 But it seemed Plant did not want to sing to begin with and confided in Snyder. Who knows for sure, right?
VIDEOHEREBOB
Ha, well he sure seemed to be enjoying himself once he did, huh?
Don't kid yourself, their EGOs are bigger than you think - prob. bigger than they think.
