I started out at the beginning of the season with a crush on her Talent and her abilities as a drag queen by the time the season was over I had a crush on his amazing personality. Cute, cuddly, humble and hilarious what more could a gal or guy want. OMG I sound like I'm 12 LOL

MK Same, I hate how much unconstructive criticism that was basically bullying that was directed at Silky by the fandom. Silky can be kept in check and can grow as a person too! If her and yvie can make amends, we can give her a chance as well
I dunno...she didn't apologize for shit-talking Soju and putting the blame on her for landing in the bottom for the makeover challenge, saying they'll save that argument for the reunion, Soju was being messy but still. I do think she's starting to be humbled though.

See here’s the thing, Silky was never mean and problematic. She was misunderstood. People act like people don’t put up walls and defend themselves. People also act like just cause someone is loud, means they are rude etc. that’s kind of like the stereotypical “loud rude black girl”. It’s like an unconscious bias. Literally every single contestant was justified in their actions. They all have their own opinions and their own realness and they also all are human and can make mistakes. Like Why so much hate speech towards Silky I don’t understand.
Richard Thach silky came off as NASTY in her confessionals. That is why she got such hate from fans. Her personality was so negative. Don’t pretend she was not full of negatively during the competition. That is why she had the fewest fans on youtube in general and most people wanted her to leave. It’s all perception on the show not if she was s good person in real life
How are you to react when called "talentless"? Don't hate the fact that blacks are just more likely to say what they/we feel, and not just behind a curtain, or a keypad, trying so hard to appear "congenial" (roll eyes)

Seeing silky outside of the competition is so nice, I think being on TV and all the stress just brought out a not great side of silky (bc I’m not gonna lie, she wasn’t my fav) but I’m so excited to see her grow and become an even better queen.
