LA Rams defeat the Vikings in a game where a facemask penalty was missed late. That's the appropriate title. They would have been 1st and 10 from the 23 yard line with under 80 seconds to go, no timeouts needing a TD and 2 point conversation to tie. And the Viking were not moving the ball well in the 2nd half at all.
Even young new i promise the rams players would rather have that called and just stop them rather than have people talkin like they couldn’t do it after holding them to 3 the entire half.

The game was lost when Viking could only score a field goal after Rams laid an egg at the first possession of second half. They were not able to stay toe to toe after that.
Delusional to say that’s why they lost. Also, a blatant missed face mask on Williams on the Rams last possession. Would have give a first down and burned another minute off the clock. That said, the missed call is inexcusable.
Was it possible that we tied the game yes. Was it likely? No. You never know tho cuz I was in the middle of saying there's always next year when the Minneapolis miracle happened

Why is it that everyone talks about the missed face mask in the end zone!?! And no one mentions the missed face mask against Kyren Williams the previous series! A flag on that play would’ve effectively ended the game without the Vikings even touching the ball!!
It isn't just the facemask call. It was the five drive extending penalties on third down that led to 21 points while the Vikings got literally none in their favor. The reffing was abysmal. The Vikings did not look great, but the defense would not have looked like total trash if those drives were actually stopped instead of extended by a handful of soft calls. There was at least one literal completely phantom defensive holding that extended a drive that should have been zero points that resulted in seven and then multiple soft calls on third and those same calls were not made against LA at all. The ref disparity was disgusting last night and it was not just that single missed call. That call was just the cherry on top of a shit mountain of bad reffing all night. I get that reffing is never even and you have to overcome it. I know Minnesota did not play great and had their chances, but at least let's have the refs evenly call things on both sides and not a completely one sided shit show that totally favors one team by letting them get away with the same soft calls you call against the other team all night.
