Extension leads should never ever be used on a head collar. If he took off fast it could break his neck. They should only be used with a body harness. turst me I know a dog that had to be put down because of this

I think he knows now, to be honest not to pull off fast . but i definatly know what you mean, I am extra careful. He absolutly hates it too, it bugs him and hes always trying to get it off. so its not ideal and i dont really like it. but it really stops him pulling my arm off, if we see deer or squirel and hes good with squirels mostly now.

Im only using at the moment as hes so into sniffing and licking . so it kind of stops that.

@@malinoisamericanakita2022 try getting a harness that has the ring on the chest. you will find attaching it to that will stop him pulling and its much safer for him . they have them on Amazon
