Perfect time to repost this video. I am the ant. I always checking the grocery ad's. I grow what I can in my little space. I also ensure my BF has food, who at the age of 73 has been slowing down somewhat. Love of God is the way forward.

I wasn't prepared for more than 3 or 4 months in 2020. However, when things opened up I put it in high gear and I have not stopped. I am worried about the general population. I don't think they realize what is coming.
Hi Pamela. The general public is either not aware or think it won't happen. I've fallen back twice in the past 3 years in my prepping. Any emergency can stop a person in their tracks, but being prepared makes it a lot easier. I'm glad you're prepping more. 😊
Im 100% the ant. Every single weekend i pick up 1 product thats on sale and double it. Preserve 1 part use the other. And if i cant find anything i pick up a dried item. Beans rice ect. Also u can make your own dried powdered yeast :) given u have a little bit to start with. After the pandemic cooled off my local grocery store put pounds of yeast on for a $1. Iv got enough until the second coming now lol
🤭 Everyone will come see you for yeast! I also make yeast water from fruit with the wild yeast on it. Oh, and I had no doubt you were an ant. 😊💗
@OuttheBackDoor many years ago im talkin at least 25yrs i remember a friend showing me her canning stash. I said oh wow i know where im goin if anything ever happens. And my friend told me flat out dont come here. I was definitely shocked and a lil offended by it tbh. I realize now all these years later how stupid of me it was to say that. I was 💯 a grasshopper back then. Interesting how ppl can change, even ourselves. I do know who i can barter with now though lol im more on the pleasure, scarce side of stashes though. Things i can barter with that u absolutely couldnt find around here naturally.
@@jenniferhall3321 I've got neighbors that have watched my channel and they say they're coming to our house as well. They were not joking either! Unfortunately, I've told them they'll meet me at the door as I've got a rifle slung over my shoulder and don't bother knocking. They also know I'm a decent shot. These are definitely grasshoppers that won't change. But, I also have sympathy for those that will get started too late. Better late than never? You mentioned bartering and that's a huge skill to have! One way I would barter is by having them put in sweat equity helping us with chores whether it's gathering and splitting fire wood, working in the garden, helping me can, clearing snow, or repairs if needed. But I'll also be sharing the Gospel with whoever comes knocking.

Hi Tracey. Back up the train! 🤭 I'm in Northern Minnesota and this is an older video that was reposted. But, it seems our season is one month ahead of schedule in reality, so I wouldn't be surprised to see snow towards the end of October. 😊

Folks need to plan their pantries as the farmers wife does. She puts up enough food stores to get from harvest to harvest. You don't have a harvest, pick up one extra food stuff. Good luck.

Enjoyed the talk as I feel times are changing and agree, it will only get worse. This story is a good reminder to both live in the moment, and take heed of what is happening around us to prepare. 🤭 Maybe I should have saved and dehydrated all of those grasshoppers I killed this year as a protein backup in my prepper pantry! 🤣 Sorry, couldn't help myself. I've had to fall back twice in the past 3 years in being prepped. It's just smart to do. I'm curious what things are going to get like with election time.
