- The Doctor has gone. Vanished. After losing Jess and then almost loosing Megan, the Doctor has decided the universe is better off without him. But the universe thinks different. Everyone is seeking the Doctor but no one can find him, friends and foes alike join in the search, but not all for good reasons. Last years finale the Doctor released Omega and there's a price to pay for it, one that will change his life...forever.

I feel like this is the best episode of the entire series. The acting is great. The story is great. The way it's all executed is absolutly great.

Said it before and i'll say it again, this series may not be perfect, but it has to be admired! You guys put out feature length adventures on a professional level, which is something even the most wealthy creatives cant do. Keep them coming :)

I love how dark and broken this doctor is, often threatening people and so tired of losing others. Puts a whole new perspective on the character
Meg is really a good actress, just that first shot of her waking up... we can see her fear in the eyes.
Only ten minutes in and its a great episode so far. I love your Doctor and this fan series! Tbh, I haven't really been watching Doctor Who and I haven't for about two years, but I'll always watch this. Love to see a new video pop up in my subscription box and I can't wait for more!
Loved the episode. Probably my favourite of your series. Just a few minor adjustments needed. There was a lot of "shaky cam" footage. Especially of Megan's house at the first establishing shot, and with her conversation with the Brigadier. I felt like these shots should have been stationary. Typically, in editing and camera work, when a shot is panning or dollying, or just moving in general, it should either complete its moving before the next shot if the next shot is stationary. You can do that or continue the motion of the first shot into the second. Also, there were a few audio issues, particularly in the outside shots, but I'm glad you made an effort to clean it up. I'm glad you put some effort into the ADR (I noticed that in the diner scene) but I felt it would have been more useful in the exterior shots. The music is constantly fading in and out of different tracks, and that was slightly jarring. Megan's acting is getting so much better, and she's probably my favourite companion of the series. She just needs to work a bit on the dynamics of her tone, and a bit on her pronunciation. Overall, my favourite episode so far. 9/10.

This is really good!!! I watched the entire thing. You're getting better at animating and filming in more areas like the Diner and Gallifrey. I can't wait for more episodes!!!
Personally I prefer the series 3 title sequence but this one reminds me of series 1. A sort of remake reflecting back on the first series
it was made golden to resemble a 'golden wrap' on the era :)
Echoing Jack Collins Martin's and other comments on here, this has been a brilliant intro to your 4th series and shows leaps forward in production values, writing and acting. It's all come such a long way and has been a joy to watch, may all your future ventures be successful and of course , great fun!

Well, it was a wonderful episode - an excellent story, nicely shot and very well acted by all cast members. Brilliant sequence of editing to integrate Clara into the episode. Oh, yes, and the Time Lord collars were spot on! Thank you so much for all your hard work.
This is the greatest thing ever. I've been watching this since the very first episode and it's gotten so, so good. While there's been no official Doctor Who in 2016, this is literally the closest thing we can get. Keep this series going, please!

Got to say mate you keep raising the bar and setting new standards. Love the new theme and titles gives an interesting approach and got me very intrigued straight away. Love that this episode had a different focus and allowed Megan's character to take centre stage, not saying there's anything bad with the doctor ;-) being the key focus but, it definitely shook things up. Also the end concept was brilliant and its great that you explored that option. Good luck with the series cannot wait for the weekly release again.

I said to myself 3 years ago, no fan film can get better than Dawn of the doctor or it just has to be legitimate doctor who. This is honestly mind blowing, and I would honestly rate this higher than most doctor who episodes, because this IS doctor who, the definite article you might say :)

I have seen all the episodes from Series 1 to Series 2, and I really think that luke and the team really enjoy doing this, really looking forward to Series 5, and the new face and companion.

As someone who did three Doctor Who fan films right out of High School I completely understand the production difficulties and the needs of casting family and friends to get the thing cast and shot. One thing you and the other people doing fan films the last few years have over me is the availability of good special FX programs on a budget. When I did mine I had to make do with a much more limited array of visual FX at my disposal. It's pretty cool what the novice indie filmmaker can do these days. :)

Tricky one to comment on. From a technical standpoint, easily the most ambitious episode you've done, but that works against it as much as for it. Some of those wigs, man. :p Some of the best performances you've had - Ms Shirley makes a vast improvement since last series, as does Mr Dale Smith. There's some less impressive ones - your new Romana is a tad stilted, for example - and some of those Torchwood people seem a bit young, but those are understandable things.
Some of the effects are impressive - the CGI looks good, and the sets are nice. Excellent use of the classic console room, though the limitations you were placed under were painfully obvious (no real getting around that, though). The Sontaran still looks a little... yeah... but it's an effort, I'll give it that. The Dalek is excellent, though, and I'm looking forward to the full episode. The mysterious cloaked figure is intriguing, as well.
The story is hit and miss. I have to admit, _some_ of this stuff seems a bit gratuitous (I'm looking at _you_, random Clara scene!), and brings down the originality of the whole thing, which is sad in a way because you've built a lot of your own mini-era stuff that doesn't require pulling on "canon" material as much. Plus the whole notion of the Doctor "losing his Time Lord essence" is a strange one. An interesting one, perhaps, but still. Other stuff is better - it's good to see Megan's character taking such a strong turn, for example, and the Brigadier continues to improve from appearance to appearance. The whole episode seems to sort of peter out a little, though, since once we've found the Doctor it sort of meanders a bit with no real villain or objective beyond, essentially, getting the Doctor back in his gear and in his ship. Perhaps a stronger approach would have been to cut some of the intermediary steps in finding the Doctor, and having the Time Lords have a more immediate, "miniboss" level threat that the Doctor could face once he was back in "Doctor mode". That, however, is just a thought.
Overall, an interesting setup for a series. With Omega _and_ this cloaked figure to contend with, there's a real question of what might be coming next, and i for one am interested to see the answer. I do hope the following episodes have a little more consistency, however.

Interesting series. I've just sorta picked it up here. Given that he's already changed gender a couple times (and clearly isn't meant to be any of the official Doctors), is this like the 50th Doctor or something?

this was a brilliant episode. I think it was as good as or even better than real doctor who. there was brilliant acting a great script and it was great to see no green screen
I've only recently found this series, and I've watched through series 1 and 3 already. (series 2 seems to be unavailable at the moment)
I've got to say, this is a really good series. Almost all of the comments are praising it, and for good reason so instead of just echoing I'll say a bit more meaningful stuff.
First off, I think Luke should play the Doctor in the real series. I would be a huge advocate for that, he clearly has an incredible understanding of the spirit of the series, both new and classic, and I'd say the spirit of Doctor Who has largely been missing ever since Capaldi left (my favorite)
Luke's take on the Doctor reminds me of how Capaldi ended his run, it's like a continuation of that series. In the new remastered series 1 he's even wearing clothes similar to Capaldi's costume, which I really liked.
I've been a big fan of Doctor Who for a long time, and I've even written/planned my own story arc(s) for Doctor Who, and funnily enough Luke has written many of the same arcs that I had thought of, he just executed them differently, so it's very cool to see someone with the same admiration and spirit of Doctor Who and has a good understanding of what direction the Doctor's character should go.
I also want to say bravo to all of the friends and family helping product this fan series. This is probably the best fan series of any fandom I've ever seen, and the fact that it still going also shows how much love is put into it.
If BBC ever cares about making good Doctor Who again (seems they may be starting to) I hope that someone high up would see this and ask Luke to be the Doctor. Good stuff
