Leroy Bonner was the OG's, OG, got mad love and props from the black music family. The work he did with the Ohio Players will stand for all time. Rest easy Sugarfoot, you earned it...
You"re right No promotion when released in 1985 I was selling records in Paris at these times and it was our favorite among all DJ"s It still remains a mystery to me

The work that he did... Shirley Murdock and H Town. Lots of others I have much respect for that man. I actually hung with him one night. He was very personal at that time. @@rodericksharp6121 I saw Roger and his brothers live before Shirley went solo. I am very familiar with the band and their important contributions may their soul rest in peace.

I like the song but only because I was a Sugarfoot fan. I had a lot trepidation for given it a like, it shoulda been a song on one of Rogers' featuring Sugarfoot
Ohio Players were a bad Group from Funky Worm, Fire, Skin Tight, Sweet Sticky Thing, etc. They were underrated and Sugarfoot was Bad. Kiss was released in 1985 but did not get any play time because there were so many Groups out along with Rap. Music was changing to New Jack so lots of good music was over looked. Kiss was a nice Reunion Album for Sugar and the Ohio Players with lots of help from Roger Troutman & Dale Degroat.

Is it just me, or does this song remind anyone else of Mtume's You, Me And He??
sounds like a faster version of "as we lay"..probably because of the genious of Beck..and a dose of "Honey" at the end..
Little bit
