I'm actually gonna try to make the hidden blade myself. Not sure exactly like yours but im using drawer slides and a blade, spring and ect. But I think this may help me get perspective on how to make one

Edit: Will the 10" Version of Amazon basic work? It looks quite similar just the weird metal plate were you attached the string to is placed differently
I believe that it would be good to incorporate voiceovers like big channels do, that would help allot your channel since you actually do deserve it. Also do you have any other social platforms?

Should have a cover over the blade because some dirt or liquid could mess it all up ya know but I like the design regardless

can you make the blade more long than that?
If the blade is longer the chances of it collapsing under alot of pressure are higher, so i would not recommend
