Yeah!! I love love your videos. I was so excited to find a new posting. Now I must buy the paper pad and lock myself in my craft room for hours. You are so inspirational. Please know your time to put these videos together is so appreciated. Thank you, thank you.
Wow, you are so talented. Thanks sooooo much for sharing. You have inspired me to challenge myself with a 6x6 paper pad! Please continue to bless us with your talent.
Loved this one. Everything about it. Awesome paper, cards, and music! I'm alone all weekend and may play your video in background for music as I try to make some cards too. Thanks always for the inspiration!
love, love, love your videos, when I saw this pop up this morning is all I could like about at work. I've adopted this method hoping to use up all my stash. thanks for sharing!
You are a marvel to watch create your masterpieces. I, too, am OCD when it comes to details and it always makes me smile with glee when you shave a minuscule amount here and there. I eagerly follow along on your blog posts, then love to watch your culmination videos. You and your husband make a good production team. Please tell him I said so. Am I correct in assuming that you choose your sketches so you use larger sizes of the patterned paper first, then whittle down to those lovely inchies? Thank you for the humongous amount of time you put into your cardmaking and make it so much easier for the rest of us. The little extras you include provide a nice touch.
Thank you, Lucy! Yes, even the tiniest of slivers must be removed or it will bother me. I've come to accept my OCD issues. Lol! I probably wouldn't make these videos if it weren't for my husband's computer help. I'm not very computer savvy. I'd rather be making cards. Yes, when I first start a 6x6, I use sketches that have the larger elements so I can really showcase the fun pattern papers. As the papers start to disappear, I look for sketches that will work with the size of scraps I have left. That's why my final cards generally feature small squares, or quilt cards. I appreciate all your kind words. Have a wonderful crafty day!
Thank you, Janet! I appreciate your kind words. No, I do not make my own sketches. Although I do figure out the measurements when they aren't already provided. I find sketches from several different sites online. Mojo Monday, Operation Write Home, and Sketch Saturday are a few of them. I have a direct links to all the sketches I use on my blog. My blog link is in the description above. :)
I'm not sure how I missed this beauty but I'm glad I was "trolling" your channel. I love all the cards in this tutorial especially the one with the little moose and the Christmas Trees. I'd also like to add kudos to your music choice for this video. Easy listening music is my fav. Thank you and your hub for all hard work you both put into teaching me/us how to make cards and enjoy the process.
Hewy Dewy Lewy Not sure how you missed this video. But it’s from last year. The moose cards were my favorite too. 💕 My hubby does a pretty good job finding royalty free music for my videos. It’s not always easy though. 🙂
Hi! Love all your designs! Can you tell me what you are using to stand your glue up while using it? Love how you don't have to take the cap off every time and it stands upright.
Kristin Bowen Thank you so much! I just used the glue cap to hold the glue upside down. It was made by Scotch. Not sure if it’s available anymore. I now use Art Glitter glue and just love it! 🙂
Thank you i love your videos. I found you thru operation write home. And that is my favorite sketch too. I am going to have to go get some sketches from your recommendations too. I will be playing this video also to listen to the music while i make some cards. Tell your husband thanks too for his musical selections"

Thank you for your kind words. When I'm ready to start a new 6x6, I have a stack of sketches ready to use. I like to start with sketches I haven't used before. As the papers start to disappear, I look for sketches that will work with the size of scraps I have left. I continue this until the papers are pretty much gone.
Thank you, Elizabeth! I use 6x6 paper pads to make cards all the time. I average between 20 - 35 cards for each 6x6. It just depends on which sketches I use.
My favorite sketch is from Operation Write Home. #123. But for my videos, I try to use different sketches each time. Although, I do repeat a few occasionally, especially for the final cards.
I find card sketches from different online sketch sites. Mojo Monday, Reverse Confetti, Sketch Saturday are just a few of them. I have a list on my blog with links to several sketch sites.
