Something I learned from this year: One must accept reality before they can attempt their dreams. This can take time to do, so dont rush the process and go with the flow. Feel the pain, the hurt, and whatever feelings you feel. They are there for a reason and talking about them is ok. Feeling a certain way doesnt mean your are stupid and being honest with yourself will never be easy. For me it would just be sitting in the rain on a bench in a modern yet nostalgic and old, cyberpunk-esque city in China, just watching people pass by. My hometown Qingdao has a very similar atmosphere. I miss it.
