Great video! It’s weird at the cliffs of Moher, it’s clearly very windy. I didn’t see 1 single solitary tree or any kind of landscaping. Do trees not exist there?
There is some history of tree exploitation by foreign powers over the centuries (although, we're not exports on that) that may have contributed to the lack of big trees in this area, however, it can be a brutal place to live... so maybe the trees decided to go live in Killarney.
Great video. I Went To Ireland 2 Times in 2015. Mostly Northern Ireland. Belfast. But Flew Into Dublin. My Next Trip I Definitely Want To See Cobh And Cork. Stayed With My Irish Girlfriend At Her Beautiful Home She Has Since Moved To Another Village. Thank You Chris Melissa. Keep Those Videos Coming.
For any future tourist watching this. I had an Airbnb in Clare near the cliffs. My advice was always (in summer) head up to the cliffs at 8/9/10 pm the people maning the carpark are gone home so it is free (bonus) and you get the sun setting on the cliffs. Magical. If you want the visitor centre you do need to go during office hours. Also head south towards Loop head the cliffs continue (with some breaks for beaches) they are not as tall but you can drive along the top.
achill island is overlooked to often .and imho far better in every way, clifs are nice and all that but achill has much more to offer with better views . got to live there for 6weeks working on a moive . one of the most amazing places on the planet .. aran islands are special in there own way too... kind spritual place
I've been back from my trip to Ireland for 2 weeks & your video makes me miss it! Thank you for the view at the Cliffs! It was so windy the day we went that we weren't able to go up.
Nice video guys and closer to your new home is Schull and Ballydehob and the MIZEN…you mustn’t miss before you leave. Also St Bridget was a Christian invention to replace an ancient Druidess who commanded so much local support it had to be Christianised 😂
If you liked The Cliffs of Moher then check out Slieve League in Donegal. They are the highest accessible Sea cliffs in Europe reaching nearly 2000 feet at their highest. Well worth a look.
Hi there! Just watched your video! We honeymooned there in Ireland, and we’re going back in October! Question for you …. Are you planning on staying longer than 3 months? If so, how? We’d love to do that!!
Sorry guys. The name of the city, Limerick, is not called after the form of poetry - it's the other way around most likely. The city's name is an Anglicisation of the Irish word "Luimneach" (pronounced "luv-knock", more or less) which refers to a local lake and it predates the poetic form by about 900 years, Otherwise though, another enjoyable video from both of you! And St. Brigid is actually considered a Christian saint though is believed to have actually been based upon a Celtic Goddess or mythical figure, i.e. the "saint" never existed but was - like a lot of "Christian" traditions in Ireland, such as Halloween (which is of Irish / Celtic origin) - drawn from ancient Irish Celtic culture and history.
I was born in Limerick on Halloween 1942 I have often been asked I I have any limericks one of my favourites is about a your lady From Saltash in Cornwall There was a young lady from Saltash Who had quite a remarkable ass It wasn’t rounded and pink as you probably think It was grey had long ears and ate grass I enjoy your enjoyment in ireland Good luck❤
@13:30 You might have noticed many cows seem to be lying on the ground near the cliffs of moher. While I always say cows should tell the truth, the Americans have a phrase for these cows. I think they call it "ground beef"
Actually the population of limerick you showed is kinda wrong and not a lot of people know this but the real population of limerick is 162k because census excludes castletroy and dooradoyle which are two huge suburbs of limerick that are not included by census in the main city but are a part of the metropolitan area
I've been an Apple guy since before Steve Jobs came back and turned things around. It's actually done a pretty good job here in Ireland... just goofs up store hours a lot. :D
St Brigid is just that a christian saint and thats how the vast majority of irish people see her, there is a minority who want to appropiate her into something else to suit there agenda.
You are a lovely couple, I really enjoyed your video's, come back soon. Ireland is a wonderful country. I wish you both the best for the future. Slan leat.
@@michaeldonnellan7529 Yes they are .I have a slight difference of opinion on who brigid was but we don't have to agree on everything and they have thrown themselves headlong into irish culture and irish life with the utmost of respect
Welcome to Galway the best city in the world!! Hope you enjoyed!!
if you ever wanna make content let me know!! loved the video!!

We actually left about 4 months ago. I was great tho. Staying longer than 3 months would require a different VISA I would think.
The burrenyou didn't mention. Look at rte player ...the Burren heart of stone . Nattated by local man Brendan Gleeson.
Thank you for the suggestion. It looks interesting.

I have to disagree with your pronunciation of Luimneach. It is pronounced lim nuch.
