Glendalough is a must visit! The monastery was founded by St Kevin in the 6th century . The name Glendalough - in Irish, it translates to "valley of the two lakes" It takes you back in time with it's history, beauty and wonder.. Hope you guys get to visit! :)

Spent two weeks in Ireland and drove all over the place: Dublin, Galway, Kilarney, Dingle, Kinsale. It's such a beautiful country with the nicest people you'll ever meet, we never had a bad day. We've been to many beautiful European cities, but the Irish people can't be beat! Don't be afraid to drive on the "wrong side" and don't be afraid to get lost. Visit Ireland !!!!

Couple of things, Limerick is a sporting mad city and county. Limerick hurlers (game for warriors) have won the All Ireland competition 5 times in the last six years. Also, Thomand Park is the home of Munster rugby, (Munster were the first Irish team to beat the all blacks ~ New Zealand back in 1978). The thing about the treaty stone is the English broke the treaty before the ink was dry. The take-away is don't trust the English (all different now). The emblem on the Limerick Hurling jersey is the treaty stone with the words 'cuimhnigh ar Luimneach' ~ remember Limerick! ~ a battle cry. Limerick people are straight shooters, no bullsh*t, tell it to you the way it is. They love a good argument. Will often have a good (sometime heated, but don't be alarmed) just for the sake of it (maybe be just a little alarmed). Proof of straight talking, Dolores O'Riordan from the Cranberries calling out the IRA when no one else would (stayed quiet, the solence causes violence). Extremely loyal. The latter in the Toilet is NOT a latter its a towel dryer that you hang your towel to dry. Its usually a switch to swith the so called latter. You hang the towel on the steps or stick.

The lady statue in front of the house of parliament (Bundeshaus) is Helvetia. She gives our country its name: Confederatio Helvetica (Helvetic Confederation). The helvets were the celt tribe on swiss territory.
