I have this as a back yard range plinker and love it love the little pellet clips crossman use to give you a 5 pellet slide clip for loading pellets with the pumpmaster 760 but now in the new ones they don't do that. This is a very fun great quality gun easy for follow up shots for firing faster with side lever and the pellet clip is nice
My friend, that mag requires to be pushed in to the mag well all the way. Each stroke of the gun will auto-index to the next round. After the last round push the button on top of the receiver to release the mag.
The clip isn’t design to use that way. All you have to do is point the riffle down so the pellets won’t fall out and load the entire clip in the breach.
I seen other reviews and you push the clip all the way in and every time you calk it , it automatically moves the clip one slot , no need to push it in one at a time
That's true! They are auto indexing.. prob still a good idea to seat the pellets in the mags so they don't fall out of your spare mag while in the field.
I'm not trying to be rude. I normally don't comment on videos. But you are not pushing the magazine all the way in. That's why the pellets are falling out. It should also automatically load the next pellet just by pulling the side lever.
Hey dude I was thinking the same thing, normally I don't comment on videos either, but couldn't resist this time.. Nothing rude about giving useful advice or assistance :)
I purchased 2 of the TR5s, a black version in 2019 and a green 1 in May 2020. The black version bolt carrier snapped in half. In 2 shots, bummer. The green version cocking arm is jammed in the pulled open position. The bolt carrier is still 100% good to go. So Air Venturi is working with me on repairing it. Seems the malfunction is either in the trigger or the spring system.
The tr5 indexes the magazine automatically when you cock the rifle The transfer port at the top of the gun has a screw don't loosen it or strip it The rifle will lose power how I know this I have a tr5 great gun it's finicky on the pellets it fires The RWS 7 grain is about the weight you want to use in this gun but I would say 6.9 grain RWS gives you the best performance in FPS 🙂👍
Hey Charles, How are you, hope all is well. I think I'll get me one. I'm new to the whole air gun seen. Thank you for all of your great air gun info bro. Take care, and hope to see some new videos from ya.
Hello, I found this gun by chance here at YT, unfortunately it is not available in Germany. I'd like to compare it to the Baikal MP61. But my gut tells me that the Venturi simply uses Baikal's system. Can you say something about this? Greetings from the great empire of Germany.
It is close copy of the Baikal IZH 61. But I like the styling of this better. I heard the manufacturer made this gun to replace the IZH 61 because it cannot be legally imported in the US at present.
To have the TR5 automaticly index the mag. Insert it all the way in until it stops. This guy is doing it wrong. I know I have a TR5 and read the instructions. This guy has not.

Before pushing the release button ,you have to 'cock' the Rifle first.
Other wise it won't release the mag.
Merry Christmas to you and your Mrs. Charles 🎅, and all the very best for 2020👌.
Thanks for another video.👉🎯

Another good video. Compliments of the season from the UK.
Rest and peace my friend
Just a FYI, this is the same gun as the Baikal IZH61.
Loading the mag improperly. Stick it all the way in, and the side lever indexes it for you.
I miss you Charles

I thought this indexes the magazine Everytime you pull the cocking lever? Are you loading it the right direction?
Lol it does auto index, he just needed to push the mag all the way in
Miss you man
Shots on tap is always nice.

Hadnt seen this model. Nice form factor
Awesome! Been thinking about this since I heard it was at shot show last year
waiting for the big draw m8 !!!
Hmmm...looks like how clone of Baikal MP-61
It's the same gun
Is this 5 shot clip interchangeable with the 5 shot Crosman pellet clips?
Nice I'm going looking for one of those .
I thought it was auto-indexing? Are you pushing the mag to load the next shot? The side-lever action should index the next pellet...
It is auto indexing he isn't pushing the mag all the way in.
6:18 it is NOT auto indexing.
