Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. Not the web shooters though, it's ridiculous that a kid, even as smart as Peter, can invent and manufacture a material almost strong as steel cables but lighter than rope and can fit into and be shot out from a device the size of a watch.

Ikr... He could potentially make his own spandex suit and I love the idea, instead of being Tony Stark's property. However, people were arguing that he couldn't 'cuz too young.. Just look at that, I mean he could build his own web-shooters and expressive eyes
@@spidergoblin. I think that the reason why they didn't included this is because of the original origin of Spider-Man, remember in the Raimi trilogy Peter worked as a wrestler one time to get money? This also happened in the comics, but for more time, however with some differences, for some time he was a celebrity and had a show on TV where he performed amazing stunts without the need of special effects (it was the 60s so this was basically what being famous was at the time), until he refused to stop that thief and you know everything that happens after that, he learned that with great power comes great responsibility, stopped trying to use his powers to become famous and get money and etc.
My point is that the original costume was made before Uncle Ben's death, unlike what is showed in the movies, and it was made to Peter to be able to perform his stunts and basically to him to draw attention, this is why the bright colors and the visual, so originally it was more like a wrestler outfit than a super hero outfit, which isn't a surprise lots of early superhero costumes were inspired by wrestlers from the time.
I feel like in this version this was modernized, in the Wakanda Files, a book with lots of information about the MCU, it tells that Peter was posting videos about himself in the UA-cam, I feel like instead of being a wrestler he was trying to be a UA-camr in this version, trying to become famous like it was in the comics, think of it like that scene from the Shazam movie when Billy's friend/brother posts videos of him in the internet, then Uncle Ben died and he started trying to help people.
So since he wasn't a wrestler in this version there wasn't a reason for him to make the spandex suit, he just made the lenses to help him to focus because his senses were going crazy and the web shooters because...webs, and then Stark came and upgraded it because that's what he does with the gear of every other Avenger

I hope that Shocker gets to be in the next Spider-Man trilogy. He and Tombstone are both heavily underappreciated Spider-Man villains.
Me too. I can definitely see his return played out almost exactly like the PS4 game, where Peter encounters him as he performs a robbery for the big bad (which I envisioned as Hammerhead or Tombstone).
Perhaps in the MCU’s Spider-Man 4.

Fun Fact: The gauntlet Shocker uses is the same gauntlet Crossbones had. Even Tinkerer himself said it when they're doing the Truck heist.

I feel like a lot of people complaining about his Spider sense here need to remember that Spider sense doesn’t move Peter’s body, it just gives him a warning. It’s up to him to interpret that and react accordingly, which is why at different points he seems better or worse at using the sense (ie dodging the metal thing in Civil War vs turning his head slightly to Shocker’s first punch but not reacting fast enough to dodge). It’s all just part of him being inexperienced and having yet to learn, and with that in mind I think the scene is pretty cool

They even showed it in Civil War. In the scene where he first showed up, he was able to detect that Ant-Man was on the shield and about to hit him, but because he was inexperienced and didn't actually see anything, he didn't trust his spidey sense and wasn't able to react in time beyond just saying he felt something was wrong.
Basically the whole point of the finale of Far From Home was to show that Peter finally got full control of his Spidey senses (or Peter Tingle). Something he didn't have before.

LifeIsForEmos8D first you do realise spidey is caught off guard right? Second, the homemade suit might plays a large role here because it doesn't have any tech or spidey is used to fighting crime in tech suit and felt wierd comes back with his pajama. Third, cap is holding back while shocker is literally going for a kill
I was just making a joke but if you wanna get real:
"Caught off guard" is a poor excuse. Even if he didn't have spidey-senses, this sucker punch shouldn't disorient him so much that he can't counterattack. Peter has shown that he can recover on the fly. Improvised action is his thing and, considering how he was doing fine for 6 months before Tony's upgrade, ther's no excuse for him not being able to at least get one good shot at Shocker. The movie almost tells us he's better without the suit. Against Captain America, Bucky and Falcon, and even Antman, he combined agility, forward thinking, strength and endurance to go toe to toe. Here he just acts like he has no superpowers. He's not concussed, because he (a)reacts to gum, (b)asks clear questions, and (c)effortlessly webs up Shocker as soon as Ned arrives, so the hits didn't really affect him too much. When on the ground he literally had so many options to incapacitate the guy but what does Pete do instead? He crawls away very slowly. Shocker has the proportunate speed and duragility of a guy in his 40s, so "going for the kill" doesn't make him any more fearsome. It's not being caught off guard, not the lack of tech, and not a matter of going easy, so I guess that just leaves *bad writing*.
LifeIsForEmos8D he maybe didn't developed his spidey sense at full potential yet and stark suit in civil war help him a bit that's why they show it in civil war and not here. And before he fight cap, bucky and falcon. Tony already tells pete on what to do to take them down like spidye said "mr stark also tells me to go for your legs" to cap and when he fought giantman he use empire strike back as an idea. But here. He didn't know anything about the chituari weapons because no one tells him what it is. Also when he crawl slowly on the ground they maybe a reason why. We don't know the effect of the shocker gauntlet to humans so maybe it can weakened the victims. Checkmate
1) Spidey-Sense doesn't "develop" like that. He said in civil war that his senses are dialed up to 11and he only put the goggles on to tone them down, so his senses are already fully developed. Even in the next action scene in the Vulture's lair, his reflexes are so good that he can dodge the wings when they come at him from behind. So this scene is inconsistent with all of his other action scenes.
2) Its clear in all of the scenes in civil war that the things he did had nothing to do with the tech in the suit. It was basically just a nice looking costume with functional eyes. Do you think he needs the suit to "go for the legs"?
3) He already saw what the shocker gauntlet could do before. He got hit by it when he screwed up the weapons deal. He even heard technical information while Tinkerer and Shocker were talking about it in the van, using "enhanced reconnaissance mode". So he already knows what he was dealing with.
4) Look at how he acts at 0:25 and from 1:02 until the end. Does this look like someone who has been weakened by a punch? He's down for like two seconds and then he's good enough to run around. The gauntlet stuns him in the first hit but in the second one he was rolling around in the bus. Either they should show that the gauntlet completely knocks him out, or they just let Peter beat him using his own smarts. But no. The writers want Ned to look cool.
Don't say checkmate because this scene is still logically inconsistent.
Also his web shooters fell off I think, one or two.

This is the best homemade suit ever, its like Peter actually tried to put everyday clothing together and make it into something of a superhero-like suit. (Unlike Andrew Garfields) Especially how he even made eyes expressive too. That's not bad for a Mark 1 suit

I guess it was more a less a tradeoff. Vulture, a sub-par comic villain, was made into a very impressive villain in the movie.

I like Shocker as a villain but I feel like he was really underutilized in this movie. Seeing the cut content of him wearing a full, semi-accurate costume makes me think he had a more significant fight scene. Hopefully we see him return in a future installment with said costume, maybe attempting a heist at the beginning of a movie.

His other powers are basically for close-range combat. The web-shooters are the only arsenal he got for long-range combat. And since Shocker got a powerful gauntlet, Peter can't fight him too close.
@@samhithp2118 He can. But Shocker will just retaliate with another high-powered punch and send him away. Plus, Peter is more focused on stopping Vulture, so Shocker is not his main problem. That's why he only web him up when Ned's timely save gives him the upper hand.

Love this Scene. The whole movie Peter was trying to prove his potential of being an Avenger. In this scene when Peter runs down hallway to get his suit that not him trying to he an Avenger. That’s just him being Spider-Man.

Did some school kids get confused when the bus didn't stop by their house? Also there was absolutely nobody in earshot of the fight?! Like forget students or teachers. No janitors or passerby's?? 😅😅 So the kids just kept dancing carefree and found the ground shaking and loud banging noises outside completely normal? I'm just saying im naturally curious about small stupid details like this lmaooo

He was given the title "shocker" that night, so it makes sense that he doesn’t wear his costume since he didn’t develop it yet. And shocker is a C tier villain, so he obviously won’t have a big role in the mcu.
Well, he's a small-time criminal who operates under the radar. It won't make sense for him to get his comics suit immediately. At least they pay homage to it by giving him the yellow sleeves in here.
So I guess Shocker really could escape him...

I love Dave Chappelle in this movie!
I think they did Shocker dirty. Like his backstory is he was a prison worker who was taking apart the alien tech/ avengers debris who constructed his own stuff iron man style. Basically like being arrested for stealing gold then being taken to the gold mine. Then makes a new suit again iron man style and commits crimes. What does make him more unique is the fact he focuses on the crimes rather than being the alpha dog. He is one of the best c list villains.
I hope we see shocker again sometime in the future of the mcu. In a comic accurate suit with the mask

I wish Shocker had been in this movie more, he's one of the more under-utilized Spider-Man villains. He's in a lot of games and shows, but he doesn't really get a chance to shine, he's always being overshadowed by other villains.

I like how Spider-Man in other movies start out with the homemade costume and then end with the nice one (kinda like a character arc too from newbie to hero).
But here, we start the movie with Peter making use of the costume Tony gave and ended with him going back to his roots.
As time passes I keep appreciating this sweat suit version of spidey suit more and more as it’s just such a smart way of giving spidey his first suit where if you look at this suit while squinting your eyes you see the classic Spider-Man look with the color way as well as the eyes having the white lens with the black outline
