Thank you for this! I just had a grand opening yesterday for my bakery and I wanted to see how I should tithe on my business. I like this method because it keeps God’s word on tithing a daily practice. I’m going to adopt this method!

Congrats on the grand opening! God has really blessed our business and I really think it's because we go out of our way to put him first in our finances.

Malachi 3:8-10 tells us how to tithe, to all of the increase meaning not just everything that you make a profit on, but 10% of everything that comes through your hands. This is the meaning of "prove me now". If you are being blessed with what you are doing that's great. But just imagine if you gave 10% off everything that comes through the business, your business will become prosperous. There is a difference. Where little is known little is required. Hope this helps.

That's good, I may start this. What I currently do is keep my business account completely seperate from my personal. Checks, online payments, cash goes to the business bank account and I tithe off what the business pays me through my personal. But I do like the idea of tithing your daily increase (although I don't think we have a tithe online option).
    Keep up the good work!

That's probably the right way but I don't want to miss out on the blessing of tithing on what the business brings in. What you're saying makes sense but I could never find any info on how to handle tithing on company increase, or if you're even supposed to for that matter. Figure it's better to give to much than not enough lol

To be clear I like your system better, the reason I did it my way is because I didn't know what to do either! Next week I would like to adopt your system though and give 1/10 of what the business makes as a whole.

tough topic for sure. I've tried to give on what we make in profit but didn't really feel good about it. Got to change things this year... you are right, can't out give God. Obviously giving has to be done prayerfully though...

I still haven’t been able to find a good answer to this topic but I can tell you that my business has been blessed and I think this may be why

Can you explain more about first fruits? If you have a service business does that mean you only tithe on the first payment you receive in a given month and not the rest? So confused.

I’m gonna do an update to this at some point. But when I say first fruits I mean that whenever any new money comes in I always tithe first before I do anything else with the money

My understanding about 1st fruits is whatever you are doing or working and you received your 1st pay check you give that to God and the following you start to separate the 10% of your income..

This is what I am confusing right. I just started my small business here in the Philippines and I am very confused about what should be the right calculation of tithing. My business is something complicated, I just let people lend me money and ask for 2% service. I do capital my business for 10,000 pesos and my profit is almost 1,000. How should I calculate my tithe for that? Please help.

You have to give the tithing from your profit, not from your loss.
