The thumbnail! 🔥 Some great recommendations in here. Loved Rizzio and been wanting to read Becky Chambers for a long time. And The Bread the Devil Knead is SO good 👏
Thanks so much for watching Ben! I taped my phone to the ceiling for that photo so pleased someone appreciated the effort (and risk to face had the tape failed!) 😂
I really need to read some becky chambers as a scifi fan! I love the house in the cerulean sea so much. I'd also recommend wolfsong by TJ Klune to you. I really like grady hendrix too and really enjoyed horrorstor and my best friend's exorcism. I also have the mermaid and the black conch and the bread the devil knead waiting for me on my shelf. I who have never known men is one I am intrigued by and want to read too.
All the books you mentioned are excellent. I havnt read horrorstor or Wolfsong yet though. I don’t want to overly hype it but I can’t wait for you to dive into the joy of Becky Chambers!
This is a great idea, I might have to try this one day. Not heard of a lot of these! I think Becky Chambers is a good intro to SF because shes easy to read but pretty deep too. Loved I Who Have Never Known Men, everyone should read it.
Rizzio was brilliant! All the books I’ve read from the dark tales series have been a hit to be fair. Thank you for watching Johanna. Love your channel so it’s lush that you’ve stopped by! ♥️

I’d love to see you give this a go! I had so much fun pulling the list together! I still think about I Who Have Never Known Men.
Now Denise Mina is a Scottish author I've never read (yet) so might have to start with that one!

What a refreshing list of reads. I’ve read 2 so I’m excited to get my hands on those I’ve never heard of! Thank you 🙏🏼
Ah I’m so pleased!! I love finding new books on booktube so very happy to pass that feeling on! Which two have you read?
I read Billy Porter Unprotected and The House on the Cerulean Sea. Both were excellent 🎉
@@robertahiday7973 Unprotected will forever have my heart!
co-sign Monday's Not Coming!
What an incredible mob of books, not one of which I've read (not even the poet). I have a lot to track down - thank you!
Woohoo! That’s exciting! Happy hunting! Thanks for watching ♥️
@@BookishAdventuresInWellbeing: very engaging.
