The HBO schedule was for July 20, 1981, per this clipping (www.newspapers.com/clip/80966177/ ); the times displayed on-screen are for the Central Time Zone. The album the rendition of "When I Need You" is from, Franck Pourcel's 1977 record _Chanson D'Amour ,_ was never released in the United States, so someone at Tulsa Cable must have imported it from another country.
I wonder if there's any broadcast rights clearing issues for something that wasn't released in the US, or more likely the case if no one gave a damn and they just broadcast it anyway.
I believe the version of Nobody Does It Better that starts at 8:41, is by Floyd Cramer off his 1978 RCA album Looking For Mr. Goodbar. The time for the track is 3:05, and that's the same length this version is. I tried looking for it on some streaming sites and here on YT to no avail, but I'm pretty this is it. It sounds like his piano playing also. Love the show.
Tracklist 3:55 - Unknown Beginning Jingle 4:54 - When I Need You Franc Pourcel 8:40 - Nobody Does It Better Floyd Cramer 11:54 - El Murceilago Waldo De Los
3:06 is the GoAnimate Movie Channel sign-off where Eric would say “That’s all the time we have on the GoAnimate Movie Channel. Join us tomorrow for more. My work is done. Good night!
would you happen to have the rest of this sign off program? i have most of the tracks following nobody does it better, but the 24th one keeps cutting out, and i want to know what its supposed to sound like

It is. It makes me want to close my eyes sometimes. It'll be there for me tomorrow!

0:08 "It's time to bring the 50s back home...with a movie that's literally set in 1962!"
Seems like there was this belief in the 70's and 80's that the 60's didn't "truly" start until after the JFK assassination.

This was long before Chicago got Cable TV.
