The "gradient" operator is also known as a curl operator for incompressible fluids, compressability makes the interactions more complex. The best explanation I have read is in Oliver Heaviside's 1890 "Electrical Papers", an excellent read for any engineer.
The simulations at the end are the most satisfying part of the video! Is it possible that the 'exploding problem' is just the natural behaviour of (discretized) non-viscous fluids?
i don't think you fixed the "exploding" problem, you just hid it with other stuff you added later. Also the FPS count is still as low as the one without the use of the grid.
big chungus
Cool, now simulate the whole world
Yes

Wow this video was amazing. Incredible.
I think that soon the UA-cam will find your audience, I just got recommended this vid, pretty cool!
We need a SPH 2D library especially for Javascript. LiquidFun is not longer mantained.
casually making fluid simulations... hats off sir
First time I’ve heard anyone say Runge-Kutta remotely correctly, nice.
awesome find, under watched vid

Look mom, I can CFD!
Bro is cooking from scratch
pretty freakalicious if i do say so myself
Links are not accessible
I would press the like button but it's at the perfect 42...
not nerdy enough :(
bro made a fluid simulator and didnt knew abt laplacian function
Tchaikovsky was a good choice!
Cool, now simulate it in Scratch

This is sigma
*2D
brother... use c
my teacher made me use processing 😭
use html js😊
booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
too nerdy :(
