Dude! That's a serious project. No wonder you've been keeping us waiting for so long 😉 But things like this cannot be rushed. Looking forward to the rest of the build!
Your attention to detail is top notch. And so are your machining and engineering skills. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the project, and Thank You for sharing your talents with us all.
You know you've found a great channel when you start realizing that you're learning/understanding more from just one video with little to no explanation, than from your other channels that won't stop explaining what they're doing. Cà Lem you make each process look easy and enjoyable, even the difficult ones; we're all looking forward to what's next. Have a great CHRISTmas with your family and friends.
I am always amazed at what you do with limited tools. When I first started watching your channel you had next to nothing you have consistently refurbished t[ls and built a shop any machinist would be proud of. I hope you continue to provide this type of content.
It's good to see you fixing another machine and bringing it back to life. I'd bet you'll have it be more accurate than when it was brand new! Thanks for sharing! I always look forward to your videos! :)
Thanks for the upload. I could only imagine what you would be capacble of if you were let loose in a prototype shop that had all the bells and whistles. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I remember the video you shot about how hard it is for you to get the right materials, and how there is not necessarily a culture of craft and engineering right now… I think you have attained the level of master craftsman. Time to get an apprentice and spread the engineering! :)
Cà Lem is back 🥳 First This Old Tony, and now Cà Lem. Man, this is shaping up to be one hell of a Christmas. Now I just need Marcus Hornberger to post a video too, and my holiday will be complete.
Fantastic to have another exceptional video of your amazing work. It really inspires me watching you work. Thank you as always for sharing your talent.
What a wonderful project! 👍 It might be a problem if your servo motors don't make enough torque to drive those axes without gearing. I would have used 3:1 belt pulleys and not used the coupling, it would be smaller stickout and have a lot more torque.
I was planning on converting my manual mill but I got a good score from an auction on a Mori Seiki VMC and got it for less than the conversion parts alone would be.
Hey Ca lem i have a suggestion for earning Your Lockdown Jaw Vice is very nice you can make and sell the vices and other Accessories for Machining i think you can do a nice production of best Vices and other accessories it's just a suggestion for a friend
Hi Calem, I love your shop. I'm a young machinist like you and I'm learning with you a very usefull tricks. I would ask you why you use 400w servo motor instead of nema42 for example. The servo have more of 12Nm of torque? I want to convert my lathe to CNC and I don't know which servos, drivers or PAP motors are better for this, I guess I need 12Nm.... Thank you!!!!
Some UA-cam machinists talk a lot and they post 10 videos where you don’t talk and just do! I love the stuff you do.
talk is cheap 😂
I know who you mean
@@DR-br5gb don't we all lol
Dude! That's a serious project. No wonder you've been keeping us waiting for so long 😉 But things like this cannot be rushed. Looking forward to the rest of the build!
Nah, i've been crying a lot watching your videos.
2 stars of my UA-cam life in one post.
😅🤣
@ 🤣🤣🤣👌🏻
Didn't know that 2 channels i liked knew each other.
@ Sweet machine bro!
No talking, no music just pure machinist art. Thank you very much for your videos.
Your attention to detail is top notch. And so are your machining and engineering skills. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the project, and Thank You for sharing your talents with us all.
It's inspiring to see a humble young man teach himself such advanced concepts ...and accomplish such amazing projects.
