Love love this quilt. I will be making this for my husband - retired Air Force and my brother - Army vet!!! Thank you so very much. It is a wonderful quick and easy pattern. Great job.!!
This could be a great Quilt of Valor award for them if they haven't already received one. Thanks to your whole family for your sacrifice and service 🇺🇲
@@hey_virginia Thank you Madeline M. had not thought of this. Great idea. My brother served in Vietnam and did not receive a warm welcome home and that would be really great for him. Thank you again.
Absolutely love your videos. Wish you were on more than once a month. Going to make a few of your quilts. Have a new Great Grand/ Baby due in July. I have the Ice Baby fabric and love the HST quilt you made with that fabric. Thank you very much for your wonderful videos Keep up the great job. Thank you 😊👍❤️
Hello! I just stepped out of my sewing room as I'm now working on Christmas gifts. I'm so grateful to be able to sit and watch your video. I hope you have a glorious week ahead! Thank you for sharing this and for your time to make this.
@@MaterialGirlQuilts if I'm using charm squares for the blue parts, how many charm packs will I need for a twin size quilt? And is one jelly roll enough for the red?
Amanda, I really like the base under your sewing machine. It looks so much more stable than the plastic one that came with my machine. Would you share where it was purchased. Also what is the brand of machine you are using? Thanks so much. Your work is wonderful.
Hi Linda, it would all depend on how many blocks you want to make. I don't know the total amount of fabric I used because mine was all from scraps. The video (and notes in the description above) shares what you need for each block. You should be able to do the math from there once you determine how many blocks you want to make. Hope this helps!
It takes about 9 yards to do a king sized quilt without considering left over scraps that aren’t long enough. That is just for the top. Always buy a little extra if not using scraps.
This is fabulous and as a beginner, I think I could do this. Thank you for the clear directions.
You're very welcome!
