Thomas offering Jimmy a plate of food...that scene was quite something..not heartbreaking but very sad. It was like a kid offering candy to a someone as an act of friendship or coz he was scared. Damnit, Rob Collier was phenomenal as Thomas Barrow

Perhaps the best drawn character in the series, with a depth that was superb. Add to that an acting tour de force by Rob James Collier. His performance was stunning. The dowager and Barrow on their own made the series worth watching, even before one adds on the other characters.
Fantastic acting by Rob James Collier! Thomas is such a flawed yet endearing character, played brilliantly by Rob. Second only to the dowager countess as the best character on the show 🙂
Julian Fellows gives a flawless insight into the world when being ‘different’ was a crushing, lonely and very dangerous place to be. Sums my own experience up almost perfectly, and now at 72 I can’t wait for that blessed relief of eternal sleep. (David) aka Alice Norman.
He is so broken... he is a nice person. You can notice that he is a good person because he have only been mean until Ms.Baxter became his friend. By then he started to be nice but it was too late.
