Mmm, I actually think he did kill himself. You can hear how beautiful his soul was in his music, and just like Elliott Smith and Mark Linkous, I just don't think he was ever able to feel like he belonged anywhere. I'm also on antidepressants, have been since I was young, probably something I'll deal with for my entire life. I think anyone who knows that pain can hear the beautiful sadness in Nick's music, one of the positive side effects I guess.
really feel for him .i am on anti depressants they have improved ,,but i dont thinkhe killed him self,,,he was great but he is a person who knew people but i know how he felt..that you just dont want to bothere with people..it always the same ..they suck the life from you .and the gossip gets me..bunch of crap ..i have very few really good firnds ,,and havent met any since imove alot,,hate to stay in one place more than 3 years

Quitting the laughably pretentious self-indulgence of Smith cold turkey is a decent first step by any metric.
