MUAY THAI FIGHTING | Pha Chor Canyon - Day 59

In the first half of this vlog we made the hours motorbike drive to Mae Wong National Park located just outside of Chiang Mai! Inside this amazing park, lies Pha Chor - a natural phenomenon often nicknamed the Grand Canyon of Thailand (though it’s not quite as large).
The canyon was formed millions of years ago and due to erosion caused by the Ping River that once flowed throughout the region, the miraculous and unique shapes of the rock formed into what we know as Pha Chor today. The site had tons of incredible information about the area. The best thing? We had it all to ourselves! So if you’re wanting a non-touristy thing to do when you’re in Chiang Mai, we highly recommend paying it a visit!
In the second half of the vlog we watched some Muay Thai Fighting - a must do when you come to Thailand as it is their national sport! Whilst you can see this anywhere in the country, we decided to do it in Chiang Mai as it was much cheaper this way! Though the fights were more underground / amateur, the fighters still packed a heavy punch with one person getting completely knocked out!!!!! (That was a hard watch from me).
