This is a great announcement! And, to be frank with you guys, it's really great to see "broadcasting people" who really obviously understand, deeply, how the podcast format is distinct from radio or whatever. There's nothing worse than a podcast that's trying to be a "professional radio show" - a problem you don't have, and clearly Chris and Julien won't either.
You guys did have Julian on the podcast during quarantine last year.
I remember because he said don't be surprised by the Habs (which was way before the playoffs)

I have to say when I first started seeing Chris on TV I HATED HIM! I remembered or at least thought I remembered seeing him reporting on the Sens many many years ago... Being a Leaf fan clearly warped my feelings because now after the numerous appearances on here, I love the guy! My favourite reporter in hockey, thanks guys for changing my preconceived notions.

Remember in the summer when you guys were like "oh we're gonna make sure that nobody forgets about this Chicago Blackhawks situation" and then you haven't even mentioned it since the video with Rick Westhead (you know, the video that you should've pulled your paid promotions from but didn't). You profited off of talking about sexual assault when it suited you, and yet like every other news outlet, you have basically allowed it to disappear yet again. But yay CJ I guess?

I have to agree with Julian, my favorite LFRs are those right after a leafs loss but my absolute favorite is the plumber analogy Steve gave when the leafs lost to Columbus a year or two ago (Regular Season) :)

We still have the students complete the Beep/Bleep test during our fitness and training unit. They complete a variety of fitness testing to understand what each test measures and why.
Not sure why everyone thinks Ho-Sang has no shot at getting a contract from the Leafs. If he outperforms someone in camp he'll force his way into the lineup. He has the skill, just has to put it together
You guys are just a good podcast. Your hockey stuff is always fun, but you literally kill it in every other podcast aspect EVERY SINGLE EPISODE.

Chris Johnston’s description of josh hosang sounds promising. Knowing josh personally he was a terrible teammate and very self centred but HOPEFUL that has changed because he was far and away second most skilled player in minor hockey behind McDavid

Nick Ritichie was an Alternate captain for the last game of the regular season for the Bruins when like 70% of the regular team was rested vs the Capitals before playing them in the playoffs, the lineup was pretty much a bunch of AHL guys, Ritchie and DeBrusk
Never was a serious alternate captain its just that I think they had to by rule give it to someone

Loved the show and announcement. You guys will need a different color to put behind the guest spot, there was reflection and odd lighting.
Happy to see the show growing. I'm not even a leafs fan but I've watched every show in the past year and a half.
FYI - The beep tests ARE still in schools. My daughter complains about them every year. She is in grade 7. She threw up once. 😕
