I was a kid when this was on in the 60's, it was one of my favourites at the time...I loved her voice, powerful and a nice melodic ballad...not like some of the noise you get today
Excelente canción con mucho sentido en cualquier época, sentido y sentimiento con una voz magnífica e interpretación excelente, nunca pasará desapercibida esa cultura musical y buen gusto.
What is it bout 60s music that made life oh so special.May be biased but heck it was great growing up then. Can the same be said about todays young ones.
hi my friend i have been listening to james reyne for two days and its the kind of thing i am into amazing how you never get to here of these singers.....i am from the uk but have been living in catalunya spain for 10 years the weather is so much better and so is the lifestyle ....have not been back for 8 years so there you go..at this moment in time i am listening to a lot of jazzy things and there is a young french girl called zaz that i like .....

Loved Cilla since the sixties when I was 15. Sitting in the cafe listening to her on the jukebox. I thought she was fab in every way and still do. Thanks Cilla.xx
So sad to hear the news of Cilla Black, loved watching her in surprise surprise, also loved some of her songs, now reunited with her beloved husband Bobby, R.I.P Cilla xx
music = sentiments, feelings---she was just communicating & she did it marvelously---no comparisons apply---different times, different historical moments...different everthing---she did a great job---she went straight to our hearts...
Ive loved Cilla since i was 12, have collected every vinyl record and CD she has made including American recordings, loved her then and love her now what a great all round entertainer !!!!!! Fabulous
See what happens when you're polite to people, you can be accepted just about anywhere. Hence, take a listen whenever you have the time. Australian Crawl were actually a supporting band in the UK in late 1983 for a Duran Duran concert. They were also a supporting band for The Police here in Melbourne, Australia in 1984.
Wish they still made music like this, music you could listen to over and over and sing along to even now after all these years, it sure isn`t what it used to be mores the pity.
@CuteMcBeauty I Agree! The English music culture is what encouraged me to move over there to live for 6 years! I love all UK music past and present. The UK has so much to be proud of!
Maravilloso superlativo.
Lost my girlfriend of six years nine weeks this morning and this song really does ring true for me I'm 49 she was 31 when died but to its the end of my world I love her so much I just miss her Wednesday was our day together well a few hours was our day and she died on me he Wednesday and funeral was Wednesday and shortly will be burying her cremated remains next to her dad Jo Jo I and everyone loved you
I love this song. This was the time when you understood music. Today would have been married 50 years, but I lost him 2 1/2 years ago. The song makes me think of him.
I remember this clip, the awkward hair and dress, big voice, very moving song, polish and strength. Will share. Thanks for making it so easy for me to hear this again. Wow! Greetings from France via the USA.
2017 - blessed to have had these singers (listening to a mix) and these songs to sing, dance and learn from: 69 years old and hope to sing again soon - still have anxiety so don't want to do this on stage yet (too much pressure to be "perfect") looking forward to busking.
WoW! I remember this song..I always liked Cilla Black version over Helen Reddy..I was about 13 yrs old back then..and had my first love and first break-up and this song sum it up!! Beautiful memories for me!
I was a teenager when she made this, never realised she had such a wonderful voice, having said that, in those days we were spoilt for choice, just didn't know it, thought it was the way of the world.
Cilla and other stars of the 60's were not the greatest on the earth, however they gave their all in their performances and enhanced the lives of the 'new' Britain in the post war eras. I would like to thank Cilla and many others, many who are no longer with us in body only spirit. RIP and thaank you all.
Again, the stage presence is just fantastic. She is SO confident and well spoken too. I like the first version where she walks down the ramp and then 1/2 way through the song glances up and to her right... smooth and "into" the song for sure! Then she belts out that increasing crescendo of "put you hand into mine and I feel a power so devine".. Cool and chill bumpy for sure. This is my favorite female song of the 60s along with Lulu's To Sir With Love in the 70s.
CILLA my love thank you for this song all all you have given us your a one of i hope you will get your wish and get to be with YOUR BOBBY MY LOVE RIP MY LOVE
On this day in 1964 {June 28th} "You're My World" by Cilla Black entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart at position #80; and on July 26th, 1977 it peaked at #26 {for 2 weeks} and spent 7 weeks on the Top 100... And on May 30th, 1964 it reached #1 {for 3 weeks} on the United Kingdom's Singles chart She had only two more records make the Top 100 chart; "It's For You" {peaked at #79 in 1964} and "Alfie" {reached #95 in 1966}... But between 1963 and 1993 she had twenty-one records enter the United Kingdom's Singles chart; ten made the Top 10 with two reaching #1, her other #1 was "Anyone Who Had a Heart" in 1964... She just missed having her third #1 when her covered version of "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" peaked at #2 in 1965... Ms. Black, born Priscilla Maria Veronica White, celebrated her 71st birthday one month ago on May 27th, 2014...
When The Beatles met Elvis Presley 1965 they jammed together and this was the song they were playing! Elvis was on bass with a little help from Paul and John was on rhythm guitar. What a historical event, I'd say!
I must agree w the other posts.. back when music was ..REAL. NO FANCY MICS. NO GIMMICKS> Her voice is so TRUE AND PURE. amazing.. remember listening to her when I was a teenager, in the 60's.
