15:54 It wasn't about politics, or an oath. Remember she loved Renley. It was actually the one time she chose her heart over duty; 'love is the death of duty'. Barry's reaction to Jon's death says a lot about him; type of guy you'd want covering your six.
@@ccispahan7514 Fair point; it certainly would've been Breane's duty to slay the foes of Renley. I think it was a mix of duty and personal feelings. From a narrative/character development perspective ... this dichotomy of love vs duty (whether it's a valid one or not is another topic) is something clearly laid out in the series as a theme multiple times (most explicitly stated by Aemon Targaryen to Jon Snow). I think here we get to see that even the loyal, honorable and duty bound Breane might be making the more personal choice (ONE time) to go after the one who caused the death of someone she had deep feelings for... which seemingly results in the consequence of leaving Sansa in danger/failing to see the beacon/failing what is probably the more urgent duty. Difficult/complex choices and their consequences made by humans who aren't perfect or omniscient is one of the hallmarks of this show... at least through earlier seasons.
@ This bit of dialogue comes before their mutual oath and there is no reference to revenge. Brienne asks Catherine if she will give her leave to go once she is safe. ‘To kill Stannis, you mean?’, asks Cat. ‘I swore a vow, my Lady’, answers Brienne. She is referring to her vow as Kingsguard, which includes to bring justice to the man who ordered her King’s murder. Of course, Cat agrees. As we see later in this conversation, Cat vows not to ask any service that might bring dishonor to Brienne. Not upholding her duty as Kingsguard would bring dishonor to Brienne.

@@SirohPC I feel you. I'm in the middle of loving and hating the last 2 seasons. But with season 6, it's still great. re: never thought the show would make you feel bad for Cersei, I think we all felt that way! Idk how into history you are, but the faith militant I think are inspired by Friar Savanarola and his followers. Back in the 1500s I think, he was preaching about corruption in the church and people living lavish lifestyles. He basically took over Florence with his fanatical cult. He got a bunch of children to basically be his enforcers, like the sparrows are here. If you've ever heard of the "bonfire of the vanities," that was him - he basically pressured people to throw their luxurious goods into a bonfire, because he thought it was vanity to have such finery. In the end, he was tortured and executed by the church (the pope who he had been preaching against as corrupt excommunicated him). It really was like that, you were tortured into confessing like they do here.
I really think that with Melissandre and a lot of people in the ASOIAF universe that say they have visions is that they aren't lying, they are actually receiving visions, it's just that their interpretations of what they're seeing can be anywhere from spot-on to wildly incorrect. So I don't think she's pretending to see the future, it's that she's seeing things (maybe from the Lord of Light, who knows what deities are real) but that she is very mistaken about what they mean even though she's also very confident that she's interpreted them correctly.
I would agree with that. I also think it's weird how the people both call things superstitious and backwards yet put so much faith in anyone they decide has witchy skills. Whether it's someone in a hut living off scraps or how Dany puts her faith in a woman she met minutes before but didn't actually question with Drogos life. I guess it's like this world in that way.

I would love to see your reaction to watching the Arcane series. Your attention to detail in watching shows is great and Arcane is one of those shows that you have to pay attention to details.
I need a sherpa to do that series.
I shall warn you, for couples of frames here lies uncensored Cersei 35:03
To add to your list on your beginning rant. CHERNOBYL!!!! Great miniseries. 5 episodes, a masterpiece
13 :37, when you run from the TV, to make it stop 😅😂❤ aussie girl.x ❤️
Great episode 😁
you gotta call the mountain Darth mountain now
Bruh I remember crying so hard when Jon died. I thought he was gonna be king fr but then again I thought Ned would be king too and he didnt even get a season finale death 😭💀 rip jon
Same
33:29 random ass Claymores and Stunners outta nowhere
Hahaha .. you thought you were gonna go straight to bed after a GoT finale??
I had a viewing party when this was first on. You could even hear our neighbors across the yard yell.
No one went ohome right away.
This episode definitely needed some time & drink to process.
HEAR YE HEAR YEEEE IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
At first I thought this was 6x10 uploaded and was like wait I missed 6x9?! Lmao Im dumb
This guy be seeing stuff coming a lot better than Melisandre!!
They clearly have not seen SpongeBob 😂
“People like happiness.” 😂
Dorne plot is so much more interesting in the book. They had a whole plan to use Myrcella and there laws to put her on the Iron Throne also had an older brother of Trystane go try and tame one of Daenrys dragons as they have Targaryn blood from less then 100 years ago
Best reaction to Arya scene was the best ever!!
RIP Jon.
Gonna start reading the books so I can get some extra Stannis content
5:49 Attack on titan. Would be great one day
People hanging or committing s withing 10 min at the start of an episode, if not the start of the story? Im sure many shows/game/movie/cartoons have them. Why bother answering a question Barry would soon forget having asked? Keep your weebness to yourself
@ attack on titan is the only anime I have ever watched and ever will. Keep this attitude for yourself
I've already reacted to attack on titan. I just haven't finished it
@@krisztiankovacs1163 there are amazing other animes. I’d really suggest either: one piece, if you’re looking for an adventure that makes you dream, laugh, cry, death note if you’re looking for an awesome mind game - thriller series.
Something more fun and also chill, with awesome action and animation, and laughs: one punch man.
Loved AOT, but these are amazing as well. One piece, my favorite. Take it from someone who doesnt watch anime really.
It was great that Silicon Valley came on right after GOT so you got a little bit of comedic relief before goodnighting
RIP Jon 💐 ⚰️
Even after Jon dies, I and many others think season 6 is the best season.
4:40 you definitely get way more than i did on the first watch, and i know my number so you must be smart😂 give yourself some credit bro!
The 🐐
People RIOTED at this scene. Remember…this storyline has mostly not happened yet in the books. We are still waiting on the next book!!! It’s been 20 freaking years. So all this now was not written by George Martin. Just know that.
Actually Jon getting murdered by the Night's Watch was the last scene of the last book, I believe.
They killed Jon and I stopped watching for 2 years! A friend convinced me to go back. It was really hard to go back to this with Jon's death. RIP
This is the ending of the last of the books that have been published as well, he dead dead.
We all had to wait a year and a half after this episode. We were so jaded by the time it started up again.
wb Theon --- c-ya Selyse --- bye, Stannis --- rot-in-heII Meryn Trant --- 🙄Cersei. .....Still... RIP Jon Snow.
bro what show are you thinking of doing after this and HOTD
depends on what my patrons vote for
