How often do you have to pause (on a piece like this one) to let a section dry before moving forward? Like letting the mountains dry before working on the trees, or letting the river base colors dry before putting in the details. Such like that. Thank you for inspiring me to paint again.

I have a question for anyone reading this comment. Is he using a quick-drying agent(ex. liquin or something else)? It looks like it's dry enough for a top coat.
