I agree that people are more similar to each other than they think, especially, in terms of experience of emotions. But on the other hand each individual is unique and we have to accept and acknowledge those differences, especially those ideological differences. I wish because we share the emotional common ground, we would be more open-minded, tolerant and accepting those differences by mutual understanding. Reality, however, is full of lack of exposure, misunderstanding, bias, prejudice, discrimination...
