    I just finished 24.2 and the advice you've given is extremely sound. I was rowing 10 - 15 seconds slower per 500m than the guy next to me. I moved steady through each movement whereas he was taking long rests and in the end I completed more reps. I'd say he's undoubtedly more fit than me but I just paced it better with similar advice you've given. That's why you're the Professor 👌🏾

    Great advice and explanation! I love that you provide advice for a wide range of ability, including normal humans like me! Gonna try 24.2 rowing slightly slower using “Paul’s law” and break up the DLs early so don’t end up wasting too much time with hands on knees later…

    What would you suggest someone who is still working on double unders? At my best and did it once I strung 6 in a row but most likely it will be like 2 or something like single, double, single, single, double, etc? Thanks in advance!!

      Can’t speak for Brent, but I’ll be getting my athletes who are in that boat to do 1 single, followed by max unbroken double unders. Every trip restart at the single, but don’t do singles in between dubs. Try to link them if you can.
      You want to spend your time doing as many double unders as possible and not wasting it on singles

      Yeah in most cases I’d agree with Cam. But Seymour it’s up to you, if you think you’ll get through the DU quicker if you keep a pattern of single/double/single then try that. Really up to you, do what you USUALLY do when DU are programmed!

      @@Fikowski just reporting back of my result! 5 + 25. I rowing and deadlifts are my wheelhouse so I held rower at 2:00 split (looking back could of gone faster because 2:00 was my recovery). Deadlift was broke up to 2 sets. Now the real work, DUs. I was doing single, double, single, single, double, etc cadence breaking up at 10s to control heart rate. Calves and forearms major muscle group hitters and lungs were somewhat fine. I got some major homework to do on DUs but thanks again for the advice!

    Me: okay deadlift , excellent double unders …. But rower .. 😖 what would I do .. 🤪
